Sweet, love bolt on simplicity! You still shooting for top speed with CVT and gears to take advantage of all that power?

Like cyborg said. If it's flowing, you obviously primed it.

I can confirm that Znen 50cc with engine BN139 had the larger valve size.

Definitely dangerous to the exhaust valve, and the fact it's getting harder to start is probably due to that.

Washed and waxed my baby today. Been using a wash and wax combo soap, and the spray on Ice wax. You spray it on, wipe it in, then lightly buff. Been using it since I purchased my SSR 150, and it gets shinier every time. Light dust wipes off between washes easily, and water beads and sheets off without streaks. I even use it on the black plastics, I just wipe them with the saturated cloth after waxing the painted panels, and they are showing zero fading so far.

How do I love thee my scooter? Let me count the ways...
1- you get me to work every single day
2- you're nimble enough to keep me safe, with just enough power to roar away
3- your simple design is a pleasure to work on, no matter what some may say
4- your extra storage turns running errands into a joyride each day
5- your cheap price and mileage makes the mortgage easy to pay
6- once convinced to try riding you, even the most hardcore biker is swayed
7- twisting your throttle makes all aggravation melt away
8- you put a smile on my face every single day!

In some states, shops are required by law to give you the old part, but only if you ask for it.

The engine shroud gives you less cooling than a standard heatsink on a CPU. It just loosely encloses the area for the fan to blow around, a better approach would be to add heatsinks to draw the heat away and have the shroud push the air out the bottom all around, maybe add a fan to the other side. Idk though, I don;t have any overheating so I haven't invested any real time into the idea. The cylinder jug itself is a heat sink with its cooling fins. The shroud is designed to force air through those fins. Without it, turbulence would make the air flow around them instead of through them.

@dmartin is right, heads come in several different configurations, you should also confirm the distance between the center of the head bolts, there are 57mm and 54mm varieties, as well as the different valve heights mentioned.
FYI -just so you know ahead of time, the 100cc BBKs are actually about 83cc.

Well, definitely didn't mean the back of the pack, not with the rides I've read you talking about! I'm thinking I can lump you in with the same group my niece and nephew put me in, they keep asking me if I could ride faster than the dinosaurs when I was younger. I just smile and tell them the dinosaurs were too young to get a driver's license back when I started out.

always good info from cyborg, thanks! For those who have not met cyborg, he is a rider from way back who helps out in several forums. We will all benefit from him posting here, both from knowledge, and his ability to make you crack a grin!

A quick Google shopping search for motorcycle oil temperature gauge shows dials indication 240-340 at the top end. I wouldn't make assumptions based on a single gauge's markings.

Is there some confusion over Celsius vs Fahrenheit here?

That is my point, the valve cover is vented and therefore not under pressure.
I'm one of those people with a re-routed breather tube with fuel filter zip tied to the frame under the rear of my seat.

There is no dedicated passage in the jug, it flows up through one if the head bolt holes directly to the rocker arm assembly.
