as you all know me..i build RACING ENGINES from micro sprint's to raptor-briggs and so on..you never break in a four-stroke at high rpm's. a 2-stroke is differant i rebuild them at the track and hold them wot all the time. a four stroke has a lot more componets in it to fail. first day slow and second day..third day a little more and so on..but at first NO!!!! thanks..buford

my money is on a leaky valve. although the oil thing raised it a lil. when you had the head off did you by any chance do the flash light trick?.........................................buford

a lil tip...if you got the head off take a small bright flash light in a dark room and shine it in the ports if you see light coming out around the valves it's a leaker......... try to see if you put your finger over the plug hole and turn kick it over..it should almost or will blow your finger off the hole.....buford

bigger valves need proper porting or you are not getting everything out of it that you can.....it's all about the air flow....

i hate it when these cheap e-bay places call it a RACING HEAD when they do nothing to the ports!! any-way what is the measurement of the intake port? if it's 19mm use a 19mm carb and play with the jet or clip.BUT first see what the intake port measures.. and get rid of the spacer/insulater. btw alot of heads that come from mederoca place's the valves LEAK.
