Well... another unsolved mystery is pegging at my mind; I can't for the life of me figure out where to order the correct parts for my Rocketa Maui 50cc scoot I'm currently looking for a speedometer connecting cable or just a whole new speedo system (I HAVE NO GAUGE OR ODOMETER) also I have been on the lookout for the replacement plastics for my bike also and with little to no luck I was hoping someone might have the magical answers I'm seeking.....

So As of lately since I've beefed up my HP on my scoot I have been running through belts like there going out of style.. And I've come to this conclusion; I would ask the professionals on here with the experience. So does anyone have good recommendations for different types of belts, personally I use a 669.18.30 But I'm having trouble finding a trustworthy source for a premium Kevlar belt or even finding a real one for that matter. I have been using E-bay and a link someone sent me from here which I would be happy to share if needed there good belts "just need a better one if possible". Hoping someone knows where to find a Kevlar one with my measurements. Also if anyone has a recommendation for my spark plug gap for a 50mm bbk with a high performance coil and CDI setup I'm using a #  main jet also I use an iridium plug. I currently gap it @ .32 but Idk if that's correct, as far as I know it works lol. Any and all help would be appreciated by not only me but the other readers who might stumble across these problems. Hey recently I have been watching a lot of Scooter racing videos and I've noticed there are people with shifters and gears on there bikes. I've been totally drooling over the idea of gears on my already modded out moped and was wondering if there is anyone more knowledgeable than me on this matter because I simply cant find anything else on it anywhere..... And would love to know if it's available without going totally custom like fabricating and welding and ect ect...

Soo last night I was on a late night excursion when my intake valve snapped and became part of my piston.  The question I have is when I do buy another rebuilt kit and that will be soon lol... I'm looking for something bigger than the 50mm bore I recently blew.. I have a 139QMB GY6 motor with Iridium spark plug, and performance exhaust and performance carburetor and variator and performance CDI and performance ignition coil basically everything added that can be. I'm looking for a big bore kit with a new head and piston jug kit; 50mm or bigger preferably Most importantly is this; When I do eventually put it all back together What are the details I need to know? like valve gap clearances and spark plug gap clearance and pilot jet size and all that important stuff so I can avoid this from happening again since I believe this problem is due to my inexperience with this motor and the finer details of tuning it. Any input would be appreciated..... |

I have been educated....! You have saved me so much hassle with your experience and help thank you so much.... I'm new to the scooter scene and since I've done these mods I've been tweaking trying to find the right combo of springs and weights and it's maddening....  |

Here's a rundown of what I got on my bike. 50mm bore enlarger valves and performance head, iridium spark plug, Klein carburetor and high flow air filter. Followed with a 2000k torque spring and stock clutch springs"I didn't like the 2k clutch springs". I also have a racing CDI with a stock coil. I've ordered 8gram Dr.Pulley sliders I'll get those today. Right now I have 6.5 gram rollers. And it vibrated like nobodies business @ 40MPH, Don't even think about going over that..! It's scary over 40......  |

Thank you for the link. I will defiantly order one of those. And I sure do hope it holds up, I doubt it.. I ride about a hundred miles every other day....... Ill just have to make due I guess lol Crossing my fingers it doesn't tear apart my CVT. Thank you for the input.  |

Yeah it was a desperation purchase I had to get my bike running again ASAP so I found the best deal I could.... Does anyone know of a good place to find a high quality belt of that size for a reasonable price??? If so could you please post a link, I been looking for days and E-Bay is the only place I honestly trust and I don't even trust them lol...? I know Scrappy dog scooters sells belts also but I'm unsure of the "high performance" aspect of it..

Hello again fellow scooter enthusiasts. I have a rather important question about a belt I purchased from E-bay. I have posted a link to the actual belt I purchased and it says it's Kevlar but at that price I highly doubt it... I was wondering if there is anyone who might have dealt with this supplier before or might have some valuable info on this belt I'm rather pressed for money right now so I'll have to make due with this till I can buy a real belt but I honestly don't know where to find a real high quality belt for my high performance scooter..... Ok I'll keep this as straight to the point as I can. I have a 2009 Rocketa Maui I've installed a big bore 100cc kit and a performance carb and muffler and manifold and big valve head and A9 cam and a racing CDI with an iridium spark plug 6.5 gram roller weights and 2000 RPM torque spring with stock clutch springs. Anyway I blew my belt apart initially at 35mph than I ordered a Kevlar belt to replace it. Thinking that I wont have any issues with it anymore, I went about my business. Not even 24 hours later I'm now looking for another belt. It blew apart again less than 24 hours later and I don't have the slightest idea why. But I do know that about 35mph and up it begins to shake and vibrate I'm assuming that it's something with the CVT but I'm not too sure. Does anyone have any experience with something like this? I've ordered Dr.Pulley 8 gram sliders but cant update till I get another belt but if anyone knows more than me some input would be grateful..... |

So I wanna try to keep this short and sweet, so that I can get as much help as possible as fast as possible.. So here goes I got me a Roketa Maui MC 08 50. From my understanding it's stock a 50cc scoot... But I've done a few mods since the purchase. I've installed entirely by my inexperienced self a 50mm big bore kit with an A9 racing cam and big valves head.. A keihin carburetor and high flow filter..... YADA YADA YADA ETC ETC.... long story short I'm stuck..! I have a racing variator installed and am currently tinkering on the weights and I'm soooooo confused.. Not sure what size weights to get I think there 16x13 but not sure also not sure of what weight to get I'm 280lbs, and I want to run an iridium plug but not sure of gaping on that plug? Honestly I got a ton of questions but its 1:30 am so I'm a lil sleepy lol.. And I'm thinking of getting Dr Pulley 8.5 gram sliders but would like another opinion on that also. So any help would be AMAZING!!! I would like to start ordering parts in about 5 day's. I miss riding my scoot my belt broke so I'll have to order one of those too. |

Hey folks new here as its easy to see. I got a question and I'm hoping I'm in the right spot I've looked all over the ole inner-web and cant find nothing on it so I figure I'll ask the forum since I've already learned a wealth of knowledge from reading all over here.. Anyway long story short i have a Rocketa Maui usta be a 50cc now its bore is 50 over and i run a performance cam A9 actually i have the works exhaust and carb and all the goodies anyway I'm trying to figure out what kinda sliders i need to purchase next week? I cant see anywhere what specific type I need? I'm looking for DR Pulley 8.5 gram sliders I'm a heavier guy 280lbs lol but I don't know what size and I'm wanting to get back out on the road ASAP!!  PLEASE HELP ASAP!!! |
