Hello again fellow scooter enthusiasts. I have a rather important question about a belt I purchased from E-bay. I have posted a link to the actual belt I purchased and it says it's Kevlar but at that price I highly doubt it... I was wondering if there is anyone who might have dealt with this supplier before or might have some valuable info on this belt I'm rather pressed for money right now so I'll have to make due with this till I can buy a real belt but I honestly don't know where to find a real high quality belt for my high performance scooter..... Hate to tell you but that belt is no good, i bought that same belt and it turned to dust after 60 miles, pushed the scoot home over a mile  |

8 bucks for a kevlar belt is probably fake. usually belts with actual kevlar go upwards of $20+

Yeah it was a desperation purchase I had to get my bike running again ASAP so I found the best deal I could.... Does anyone know of a good place to find a high quality belt of that size for a reasonable price??? If so could you please post a link, I been looking for days and E-Bay is the only place I honestly trust and I don't even trust them lol...? I know Scrappy dog scooters sells belts also but I'm unsure of the "high performance" aspect of it..

I only buy gates or bando belts, can't go cheap on a belt i learned the hard way  |

Thank you for the link. I will defiantly order one of those. And I sure do hope it holds up, I doubt it.. I ride about a hundred miles every other day....... Ill just have to make due I guess lol Crossing my fingers it doesn't tear apart my CVT. Thank you for the input.  |

It may hold up, i was running a 1500k torque spring the belt couldn't withstand it.

Here's a rundown of what I got on my bike. 50mm bore enlarger valves and performance head, iridium spark plug, Klein carburetor and high flow air filter. Followed with a 2000k torque spring and stock clutch springs"I didn't like the 2k clutch springs". I also have a racing CDI with a stock coil. I've ordered 8gram Dr.Pulley sliders I'll get those today. Right now I have 6.5 gram rollers. And it vibrated like nobodies business @ 40MPH, Don't even think about going over that..! It's scary over 40......  |

that 2k spring will kill that cheap belt off in no time flat, it won't hold up.

I have been educated....! You have saved me so much hassle with your experience and help thank you so much.... I'm new to the scooter scene and since I've done these mods I've been tweaking trying to find the right combo of springs and weights and it's maddening....  |
