ok yes, also known as an electric choke? anyways i do feel this upon startup but it tends to die down and idle normal after a minute or less. Also, before all of this happened the scoot was not running right. it would not pull great acceleration and would only go 40mph which is obviously wrong with all of the upgrades and it feels like it wants to pull more but then doesn't

ok so it only sat for like a minute, i am not sure if it has an enricher but i dont believe so, I actually drove it to school and it did this all the way home, had to basically ride it in the bike lane because it would only go 25 if i pulled any more throttle it would basically die. felt like the motor wasnt running at all until i dropped the throttle back a little.
No idea if this has to do with anything but my kill switch isnt killing the engine either

I drove the scoot and it bogged a little and wouldnt reach top speed, assuming has to do with cvt and carb tuning but after leaving it parked for about an hour it started right up fine but as soon as i went to drive it and opened the throttle all the way, it bogged out as if i wasnt given it any throttle at all, basically stopped running but didnt shut off. Why would this be? I have had a similar issue in my car and it was a bad oxygen sensor.

I put a breather filter on the manifold hose that also came from air box. I have no egr port
On top of this, my kill switch doesn't kill engine and doesn't need to be in the on position to start the engine

I have checked everything, i have a high flow intake so theres not a whole lot of hosing just the filter and like 2 an inch between the carb intake. i just had the entire bore and everything apart to do a bbk and i have checked all seals and gaskets and its air tight. when i had the jet in it seemed to do the seemed to do the same thing at WOT

I need to update that because i have 7gram rollers in there right now, Also I had a jet in there and it still ran with the a/f screw all the way in, the pilot jet is stock as well no clue what size though because not labeled and isn't WOT based on the main jet?

I have recently completed a complete redo on my 49cc Chinese scooter. I did the upgrades listed in my signature and for some reason my scoot is only pulling around 40-45 mph which is less than it did stock. I can feel the scoot bogging at WOT and it feels like it wants to pull more RPMs and speed but then will jolt back. as if I'm on and off the throttle even though its at steady WOT. I have tried tuning the carb with idle screw and A/F screw, however even upon A/F screw being all the way in, the bike stays running and at a steady idle. I have the stock carb and carb jet installed right now which i believe is an (not labeled). too much fuel? too much air? what to do next?

i put in a 15 amp fuse and it doesn't blow, however the electric start isnt cranking the engine. secondly everything is functioning now and it runs good, at WOT i am bogging quite a bit. my specs are in my signature what should i do?

So here is the latest update. I received the new voltage regulator in the mail. I hooked it up, along with everything else and the fuse did not blow and all the lights are working. However, upon pushing the electric start, the fuse blew again.

so what your saying is connect the R/R so the light illuminates (which it does) and then start unplugging things until it goes off? I don't believe that it will go off but i will go ahead and try that tomorrow. everything I have plugged in didnt make the light illuminate except for the R/R and then when i turned ignition key on, using the blinkers brakes and horn made it light up

I have traced all of the wires. I even striped off the wire harness wrapping so i could individually follow every wire. I cant think of a reason why the blinkers, breaks and horn, (possible electric start) short it out. I understand the regulator being bad but i just dont know where to go from here.

I know this isnt exactly good but i hooked it up with no fuse because i tested it under 10 amps, but nothing is working such as break lights and blinkers and electric start. and i know they all arent individually blown because i checked them

keep in mind the regulator isn't plugged in at all. I will need to get some more fuses to test this but the light is in line with the ground frame wire to the negative battery terminal. negative battery terminal (-)------(light)----(scooter ground wire). and if i do install everything, will anything even work without the regulator connected? because i pretty much have that all setup now with no regulator installed and hooked to power and nothing works still.
