More than likely the previous owner broke it and took ot off. It would we a waste of money to install breaks and no lever.

When its full its very noticeable. Its coming from behind the stator and flywheel. I think its the oil seal. What do I have to do to replace it?

Maybe it's just my eyes but it looks like from the top photo that your bike is pointing a little left (look at the luggage rack, if that's what that is at the very top of the photo), but the rear tire and belt cover is pointing straight away from the viewer of the photo. Draw a straight line right down the middle of the photo. Things don't line up. For whatever that means. Don't know what your asking. The bike is on the stand, thats what it looks like. No other way to explain or tke a pic.

I had a problem similar to that-- my rear tire was rubbing against the single shock on my scooter. It very well could be your problem-- the engine hanger's bushings are worn out. If I remember correctly, I only noticed it AFTER unhooking the shock from the engine, and then lifting the engine up using the rear tire. Have you noticed when going over bumps in the road that it's much more rough than usual? Your hanger may look different than mine in the pic. I still haven't found the exact one I need. Although, I ordered the bushings from partsforscooters, and had my dad's former workplace press them out/in. The bolt you see coming out of the worn out bushing, attaches the hanger to the frame. The engine attaches to the other end of the hanger, on mine. You were spot on, my bushing is like almost gone. Is there rubber and a metal circle in the middle lif ethe shock mountings? Pulling the engine up, it still hita but less than befor. Do you think the the screw is bent??

If it is leaking from the front of the CVT then here is where it would leak from: Is this a pic of the variator side or the stator side???

If yours has a BENDIX for the kickstarter(139QMB motor) it is very easy just take the Variator off and you will see the Seal. If yours has a Starter Type Clutch on the Crank then just a little harder. Alleyoop 157qmj

When its full its very noticeable, not so much when its low.
I'm assuming its the oil seal behind the variator.
How hard is it to replace?

I got it with the exhaust off the head. The cooling fan was already melted. When I re-attached the exhaust to the head the pipe interferes with the fan cover and barely skins the fan. Why is this?, How do I fix it? 157qmj
