These are speedometer readings. Its a 2012 tao tao and the gps says its like 3 mph off. I have seem 45mph on gps screen before when it was stock. going flat with no wind. And yea the was the biggest. I just bought the pump. I'm gunna try to get it fitted and see the results

It does the same thing with the cheap un-restricted orange cdi. I have to have my kill switch. i've had my throttle get stuck multiple times on both my nikes and the switch saved me from accidents.
It goes around 40 flat after bbk. 47mph before bbk.
I can tell it wants to go faster then it justs cuts out.
Also it smells like its overheating kinda when I park it.
Which means its running lean.

Its every carb but stock that does that. I have 3 carbs total
1. stock 2. A 50cc carb not sure what size. Bought it about 7 months ago and could never get it adjusted properly with my other bike. 3. the 19mm i'm using now I bout less than 1 month ago.
The problem I was having on the other bike is identical to this one. Only when it cut out it would die or idle down. FOund out later that it was the fuel petcock leskng gas nto vacuum and making everything too ruch. After fixing the petcock the bike was having the same issue at this one. Both have 50mm bbk

So ive done 2 bbk's and a head swap and never payed attention to the different valve lengths. Never had any problems.
My question is why the different lengths?
Does it effect performance?
If I were to use 69mm in and engine that came stock with 64mm it would hit the piston and bend right?
What if it were the other way around?

I already had this one. The one I was going to buy was 26mm. I thought 50cc carbs went up to 25mm. And no the bike was not cutting out. Stock carb is epa and locked. I'm going to try the 20mm carb. If 39mm stock piston uses 18mm than 50mm should do fine with 20 right? Yeah or even an 18mm will be fine. I thought we suggested for you not to get the 150cc one. When I first did my bbk, I used the stock carb with an jet,and it ran fine. I changed it out because the adjuster screw was blocked off. was the bike cutting out at wot before this?

4 valve head or scrappy's performance head? Wow you use an MJ with a 24mm carb ? If the head is not ported and has larger valves plus a performance exhaust it is too big of a carb . Do you use the spacer ? I used a MJ on my 50mm BBh stock carb . Your not creating enough vacuum to utilize a 24mm carb . Sure a size up carb or MJ makes one run better but too big it will not perform as good . Example a buddy had a Gran Torino with a 351 Cleveland that had a 2 barrel carb . He bought and Edelbrock 4BL intake and a Holley 650 double pumper on a stock engine . If he had the heads worked , performance cam and exhaust yes it may have worked great . It made more vacuum sound that it performed . I got it to take it back and get a 600 CFM Edelebrock carb that I bolted on out of the box and it was amazingly way better for his set up . If you compare drinking with a straw vs a 1/2 inch piece of pipe you can see that bigger does not mean better all of the time Check out the head at the top of this page www.scrappydogscooters.com/139QMB_50cc_Performance.htmlYou can always go with EFI if you have the cabbage www.ecotrons.com

Yes, same result Have you tried to connect fuel line directly to the tank, and leave the gas cap off?
