***************UPDATE********************
So i got the knarps in for the cable a couple days ago and just got around to trying to figure out how much cable i actually need. I did a guestament and came up too long. Do i just need to keep cutting some cable bit by bit until i get the right length? and i also tried starting my engine today i have no electric start so i was kick starting. i was real gentle on the first couple kicks so eveything would get lubed up before i actually tried to kick start it. I can feel and here theres compression (no gauge however) after a few good kicks i could smell gas how do i check to see if theres spark? ive got the iridium plug in there now idk if this makes a difference or not.
Do i just take the plug out, reatach the plug boot and kick to see if there is spark?

ya a lot of ppl have told me that. I am new relativly new to scooters and an willing to learn the hard way. i havent taken the carb apart so idk what jets are in it. it came with a way bigger than stock intake. and to be honest i kind of want to stay away from the uni filters, they sound like a pain needing to be oiled all the time. ill buy a way bigger open air filter before i try a uni. (again learning the hard way probs). I have the valves set to .004 in and .005 exhasut btw. oh and the kit i bought came with big head valves. www.scrappydogscooters.com/139QMB_50cc_Performance.htmli got the stage IV performance kit minus the exhaust. check it out give some more feedback i love all the info im getting form u guys!!

I have a ishimotor A1 139qmb 50cc 4 stroke. stock at best (drafting semi or suv) 50, normal 40. I am currently in progress of installing 80cc bbk , racing cdi, racing ignition cable, iridium plug, 5g rollers, 32mm carb, open air filter, performance clutch, 1k clutch springs, bando belt, stock but bored and drilled exhaust. will be looking into possibly better exhaust or air filter if needed and possible in the later future bigger cam and final gear ratio. will repost when it gets broken in and tuned (may be awhile). if anyone feels like it please contact me on email if you have any recommindations for those "future" parts i mentioned.

oh and yes it is the 24mm i am determined to try and get it to work even though most of you guys have told me to go down to stock. while were on this topic if im running to rich with my open air filter and stock but drilled and bored exhaust. what will happen if i take off my exhaust and just use one of those flexible exhaust hoses to make sure nothing gets in the exhaust?

thanks millsc i went out and bought a new calbe from a bike shop I just have to wait until tuesday for them to get the knarpels in for me. I have minimual tools so i have to do what i can do and a dremel isnt included in my short list of tools. i actualy had to go buy a drill a tap and a couple drill bits bc one of the bolts on the throttle housing was completely stripped out. first time drilling out a bolt and i completely ruined it i would probably need to go up two sizes on it inorder to fix what i did.

ya its weird Ive got plenty of slack for the cable but when I pull on it to try and get more out i get nothing. But I will definetly try putting the cable on first thanks guys! I see no other way of rerouting i already took the plastics off and it seems to me that its got the best route. it has to come from the right side of the motor looking at the tail because of the bend in the attachment piece. If i come from the left side of the motor the line wants to kink and roll. What i dont get is what i said in my quote. i pulled the line tight all the way untill i get the end. and the line can reach my rear wheel axle. but when i go to route the cable around the carb to the attachment bracket and pull the cable in the line nothing comes out shouldnt i be able to pull what extra cable is already there out? or am i just being crazy?

the cable i have is stock, the kit didnt come with one. So i would be guessing i need to get a cable thats about 2 inches longer? and if so where would be a good place to get that?
