So did they give your money back and let you keep the motor?if not open a paypal dispute to get your money back. But ebay would be a good place to sale it

it probably ain't the brand imo but how much oil in the mixture have you adjusted the oil pump down, i used 5-7 dollar brand oil since i have been scooting from autozone or advance without issue, well i have had issues but none caused by the cheap oil, also being rich in the fuel will also cause build up

sounds like you seized the motor with lack of lube excess heat built up cause the motor to seize and after setting it cooled off and and unseized what size jet are you using

Had a friend that snapped a belt and everything was a mess got a new belt and rollers and installed everything and he keep snapping belts could not figure the reason why, after four belts we finally just bought a new variator and drive face and never had anymore issues with the belt snapping but i would check your plastic guides and make sure they are up to specs make sure the clutch ramps are clean and no burrs.Put everything together leave out you bendix and kickstart the scooter take the cvt cover off and rev the motor up and down and just look for anything weird also i had a issue with a weak contra spring/bad belt and the belt was riding to low in the in the clutch and eating my belt up, while waiting on parts it final got stuck between the two clutch ramps lefty a 3 foot skid mark and broke the belt wish i had took pictures of it but i was new to the forum and scooters and didnt think of it

I like the third party uploads from photobucket because they are large and you can post as many as you want in a post but if the person doesnt keep up with their account or the pictures are moved the image is gone and when people try to read the thread later on the pictures are gone but if attached they always will be there

Cheap belts are never the correct size, you can buy three and they will all be different lengths buy a good belt and it will last four times longer than the cheap belt, you lose more money buying a cheap belt

Check the gap on the spark plug or even get a new one to start but the gap is fine straight from the box and if you want to check the old one make sure its in the .6-.8 range make sure you airbox is connect right and make sure all your lines are connected to the carb

there is oil pumps that are controlled by a cable and another that ain't so dont worry, the kind you have is better then the cable one here is a aftermarket cableless oil pump www.spmotostore.com/product_p/mf91.166.htm the plate you mention come in different ratio 32 to1 40 to1 and so on
