miami.craigslist.org/mdc/mcy/5842946419.htmlNever heard of this brand.... any tips? Has some after market work done to it... ive called the guy to check to see if it was still up.. it still is.. Not looking for another scoot... but a 250cc for 1500 seems too good to be true... My main questions are. Anyone know the brand? And if so, anyone heard anythig about these scoots?

What *is* the brand? I didn't see it listed. Of course, I also just woke up a little bit ago. Is DAR the brand? Or just the model?
It's got pretty blue glow. It's also got remote start which I've never understood for any 2-wheeler.

It might be a good deal, but I think you can find good used 250's for around $1,500 (even name-brands) especially now at the end of the riding season.
It would pay to check around. Also, considering the season when people are not wanting to spend on anything but Christmas items, you might pick up this one for a grand.
One of our members just snagged a nice fuel-injected Kymco 250 for $600 and his old Chinese 150 if I recall.
Lots of good stuff out there cheap...
Ride safe,

Depends on the year and mileage along with if its one of the Znen Roars with the overheating problem. $1,500 is about right with regular still below $2.30 a gallon.

But...but...but guys, it glows! It glows BLUE no less! Total cool factor alone has to be worth something here. Then again, it's not hot pink. So deduct for that fail. >'Kat

Cops never pull you over for any solid color besides blue or red under carriage lights. But if your unlucky enough to have a cop be in a mood... be prepared to get a ticket... thats why i run with solid white or green.

Why is blue a no-no color? And really, it's no problem. Just change out the blue bulbs for hot pink. Problem solved. Looking pretty in pink! >'Kat

Blue and Red are colors for emergency-type vehicles in FL...so, unless you want to strap the injured to the back of your scooter...

Yep Blue is for Police only while red is for Fire and Ambulance use while yellow is for wreckers and private use as far as the main colors go. Also ground effects lighting is not DOT approved so in many areas they will ticket you if you turn it on while even parked on a public street never mind if your riding on it. Never understood going through the bother and expense of installing lights that you can only legally use in a private parking area.

FL is tougher than KS. Here, as long as the lights themselves aren't visible, then there isn't an issue. Once saw a white minivan with purple lights so perfectly angled that you couldn't see them but they reflected off the street to make the bottom half of the doors glow purple. Looked light some spook-van going down the road. Hm. "Ground effects lighting," huh? So what if it's frame effects lighting, then? Is that ok? (see what happens when you start over-regulating silly stuff?) >'Kat, still thinking mrsunsett should just swap out that blue for pretty pink and go cruisin'. Say, you could add some axel bouncers and air-struts. Man wouldn't you be just the thing then?!
