The one I have is FEYCH brand, and it sounds like it would probably be crap but it is not. It has never killed a battery and in times when I really stretched out the battery when I was having starting issues and even the lights and horn wouldn't work anymore the alarm still worked (not as loud but worked when battery severely low). It seems to be a very generic 2 way motorcycle alarm, and if your scooter is recent (which 2013, I'd say is) it probably has a spot in the harness to simply plug one of these in and use it right away. www.ebay.com/itm/2-Way-Engine-Start-Motorcycle-Anti-theft-Security-Alarm-System-Vibration-Sensor-/272038315974?hash=item3f56bf47c6

www.ebay.com/itm/Motorcycle-Scooter-Security-Alarm-System-Anti-theft-Remote-Control-Engine-Start-/361600161795?hash=item54310c9803:g:-IkAAOSw-4BXY7bf&vxp=mtrI had this exact one on my 50cc tao tao. The first thing you should do is remove the front panel of your scooter and check to see if its pre-wired the 50cc tao tao's are pre-wired well my model was atleast. The panel will be the very front one. To see if its prewired it will have the white thing with all the wires like in the alarm. IF so all you do is plug it in use the sticky part and now you have keyless start and a good alarm to keep people thinking twice of stealing it. I always got compliments on mine because people were suprised it had an alarm. Mine didnt drain my battery but i did drive it alot it only sit at night. your battery will die if you leave the alarm on for days and dont drive it.

I have a 2004 Vento Phantom that i had to put a new wiring harness and bought a complete kit that had the key switch, stator, magneto, lights, start, turn signal, horn switches, voltage regulator etc. at first it was blowing fuses and found out it was a bad configured wire in the harness that i fixed and the problem was solved. now a bought an alarm system for the scoot that is plug and play. it does arm and disarmed the alarm but it will not remote start, i can hear the alarm click but it wont remote start. i took my vom meter and traced the red/yellow wire to the solenoid and when I push the remote start I get the correct 12.15v from the blue wire that is connected to the red/yellow wire. but if I set the vom to chirp when I trace the wire to the solenoid i get chirping in both red/yellow and green/yellow. only red/yellow are in the alarm harness plug. maybe i am missing something.also the instructions are in Chinese and I have seen many diagrams but still can't figure out whats wrong can someone please help me solve this problem so I can remote start the scooter? Thanks

My BMS Heritage 150cc is great, but recently had a supersensitive alarm, which would go off in a series of loud annoying chirps. I tried a suggested sequence of using fob buttons to reset sensitivity to no avail. I began to9 take the cowl apart to remove the damned thing when I found I had a second set of key with another fob. I reconnected the nbattery and lo & behold! the alarm was OK. Apparently a weak battery on the other fob would set it off but not disarm. So change the L828 battery, available on eBay.
