Sorry brother, but I have only seen it done with a flywheel puller. The $20 investment is well worth it to fix the problem without causing another.

Thanks. I just need to know what stator goes in this beast and then I'll swap them out and also buy a DC CDI and see what happens. I think the guy I bought it from purchased and installed the wrong CDI so I'm just going to replace those components and maybe even the rectifier/regulator as well...matching up the harnesses seems to be the trickiest part.

both look to be AC. My DC system only has 4 wires going to the CDI (3 in the 4 way and 1 in the 2 way) and the wires coming from the stator are 3 yellows and the single wires are the green ground and the blue/white pulse wire.

Yeah, I've got one guy telling me the CDI is DC and another saying it's AC and I'm like....dang I just want to see the spark plug spark a bit! But nobody has seen much of these DICK-TOOTH (DongFang) scooters...lol and even the dealership who sells them on the west coast can't even answer a question, phone call or e-mail...

Well shiz....I replaced the STATOR, CDI, IGNITION COIL, REGULATOR RECTIFIER, and still no spark....
DOES ANYBODY have one of these DONGFANG 150cc REVERSE TRIKES? EVEN it it's not running I'd like to see some of the wiring....
OR....does anyone in the midwest want to buy this ?

did you change the green and the blue/white around? The blue/white should be the trigger wire coming from your stator. The green should be ground. Both green (ground wires) should next to each other in your 4 pin going into your CDI. Look at the pics I listed. Yours should be the 1st pic. pin 1 - input trigger from stator (small volts .15-.2 v or so) pin 2 output to coil pins 3 & 4 - ground. (pic shows pin 3 open but every pic I've seen online has a green wire ground there) The 2 pin connector pin 5 - kill switch pin 6 - input power from stator

Yeah, if you look at my previous posts I had already swapped the blue/white wire. What's weird is that as I'm cranking the bike over, there are no readings but once I let off, the voltage goes up quickly and then right back down...it's the weirdest thing....
Still no spark...think I might run the wiring direct to the CDI from ignition with some new wiring...not sure what to do.
Seems like the stator I installed also doesn't show any readings...
This blows

DOES ANYONE OWN ONE OF THESE THAT WOULD BE WILLING TO SHARE PICS AND OR VOLTAGE READINGS AT ALL CONNECTION POINTS?

After rewiring everything, replacing the CDI and Pickup Coil, I'm running like a champ...still think I'll sell it, but not until a few hot laps. Brakes on it aren't working worth shiz, so I'll probably adjust those and it seems like the front right control arm bearing is gone...I'll fix those before I sell it. Pretty fun lil Skootz. Thanks to those who game me some input. Appreciate it.
