The Puma Falcon 150 is essentially the same bike too. I have a 2012 Falcon model and it's been a great bike. I actually just listed it on Craigslist : kansascity.craigslist.org/mcy/5677774130.htmlif anyone is interested. Would like to keep it because it's so fun to ride but the wife says sell it as we've both moved on to larger bikes. John

2012 Puma Falcon 150cc Scooter w/ABS, 26" wheels, front and rear disc brakes. It is in Like New condition. Has only 907 miles. Has 2 storage areas, one small under the seat and the other in the included Saddleman HC2900 hard luggage trunk. Only weighs 270 lbs. Will do over 65 mph. Gets 75 mpg. Always stored inside in heated garage. The only flaws on this scooter are a few scratches (shown in pics) from it falling over in my driveway while I had it running and on the side stand. This Puma Falcon is a the same bike as the Motorino Cassini, BMS Kerrigan, Flyscooters Cadenza, Lance Phoenix, TNG GS, SSR Pacifica, Znen ZN150T-18 and probably others that all identical except for the colors. I special ordered this Puma Falcon and I had to wait 3 months to get it because I wanted an all black scooter and not a 2-tone black and white. I am the original owner and I bought this Falcon and another Puma so wife could get used to riding. We've now moved up to bigger bikes. We bought this scooter new from Austin's Motorsports in Independence, Mo. Puma is only sold through established dealers and not available on-line or through someone selling out of a storage place. Here is the local Craigslist where I have it listed: kansascity.craigslist.org/mcy/5677774130.htmlPaid $1,595 + $175 for the trunk. Sell for $1,200 OBO. Cash only. Have clear title in hand.

Finally figured out what was wrong. My stator pickup is bad. Works until it gets a little hot and then goes out. Thank you Tortoise for giving me that link and I also found another youtube video that showed how just putting heat on the pickup with a hair dryer was enough.
It started running yesterday and got around the block and it quit. Came right in and started checking out the stator, CDI and coil to see which one was going out. Lost the signal from the blue/white trigger from stator. Let it cool off and had signal again, started it up and just let it run on the stand and it quit. Let it cool down and back came the signal. Took a hairdryer to it and out it went again. Already had order and received 2 days ago a new stator, CDI and coil from Valley Scooters (thanks John) so I order the flywheel tool last night and it should be here tomorrow and I'll get the new stator and pickup installed.
Thanks for everyones help.
John

did you change the green and the blue/white around? The blue/white should be the trigger wire coming from your stator. The green should be ground. Both green (ground wires) should next to each other in your 4 pin going into your CDI. Look at the pics I listed. Yours should be the 1st pic. pin 1 - input trigger from stator (small volts .15-.2 v or so) pin 2 output to coil pins 3 & 4 - ground. (pic shows pin 3 open but every pic I've seen online has a green wire ground there) The 2 pin connector pin 5 - kill switch pin 6 - input power from stator

I didn't buy from you I just found that post when searching as it has the same scooter that I have and showed what to check out for no spark. I'm just looking to put this thing back to stock and get it sold as I don't have a used for it anymore as I bought a new Suzuki Burgman 650 exec.

tvnacman - John I haven't ordered parts yet. I just noticed that all the testing I've done on my scooter is according to this post that you helped on about 2 years ago. I have that same Znen ZN150T-18 or a clone of it. Mines a 2012 Puma Falcon. scooterdoc.proboards.com/thread/10509/stator-cdi-wiring. If you could give me prices and shipping to 66062 on the following: GY6 12 coil stator DC GY6 DC CDI GY6 coil - mines got 2 slots to bolt it to the frame and only 1 male tab for the CDI signal (2nd wire just mounts to one of the 2 slotted bolt holes. I'm % sure its the CDI as I stated about in my post, I have a signal (.15vDC) from the Stator blue/white wire into CDI pin 1 and have 12v DC into CDI pin 6, Ground into CDI pin 4 but nothing coming out of the CDI Ign. Coil positive Pin 2. I have tested all 3 coils that I have and between the gnd and the one tab I basically get 0 ohms and if I remember about 9 ohms on the spark plug lead.

**UPDATE** I've checked out all wires and connections. I have .15v DC coming out of the Stator going into the CDI. I have 12V feed going into the CDI. I have a good ground into the CDI. All my grounds are good. Kill switch is working. I DO NOT have anything vDC or vAC coming out of the CDI going into the coil. I checked this wire (CDI output to coil) and it has continuity so I'm thinking I have a bad CDI (actually the 2 I have are both bad).

both look to be AC. My DC system only has 4 wires going to the CDI (3 in the 4 way and 1 in the 2 way) and the wires coming from the stator are 3 yellows and the single wires are the green ground and the blue/white pulse wire.

I have a 2012 Puma Falcon 150 (clone of a Motorino Cassini, BMS ZN150T-18 and others). About 2 yrs ago was riding it and it just quit like you turned off the key. After it cooled down it started right back up but less than a mile later same thing and push it home. Called local dealer where I bought it and they said maybe dirt in the fuel and carb. I order a new DC CDI and Coil and that didn't help. I've tried a few times to start it since then but no luck.
About 2 weeks ago I pulled the gas tank, put in a new vacuum fuel pump and added sea foam to gas. I could almost get it to run. A few time it would but wouldn't idle. I finally put my old coil back on and it fired right up and idled so I figured the new Coil I ordered was bad and the sea foam worked to clean out the carb. I went to ride it 3 days ago and it started right up and idled and I got out of the driveway and one house down the street it quit again. No Spark. Then some spark but not consistent. Installed my old CDI and nothing ether. Checked both Coils and both show good but I went bought a new one just to make sure. Still nothing. A couple times a few sparks but then dead again. I then checked the Stator and I'm only getting about .15V DC out of the trigger lead going into the CDI.
Does anyone know what the output voltage should be on a DC Stator? Everything online lists what a AC stator should be and how to check it. I know I have a DC unit as I only have 4 wires going to my CDI, the lights come on with the key and I have 12v DC going to the CDI with the key on. One place online listed 0.2v but a dealer/repair shop here said 8-10v. I don't want to replace the Stator if I don't need to.
Thanks in advance. John

I've got a 2012 Puma Falcon 150 with 900 miles on it. Last week while riding it to work it just quit like you turned off the key. I stopped and it started right back up. About 2 blocks on down the street, it did the same thing and started right back up.
Well today coming home at 5pm, about 80deg out, after riding about 4 miles, it quit again but this time would not start back up. Walked it over to a large parking lot and waited for my wife to come get me. Tried to start it until she got there (about 30 min) but would turn over fine but not start. I left and went and rented a trailer to bring it home and when I got back to load it up (about 1hr 15min when it 1st quit), it started right up.
I'm at a loss. Don't know where to look. Bike is all stock. It's still under warranty but like most places if it's not doing it now, they can't fix it. I kind of wished it would have not started up so they could diagnose it. Any ideas what to check or look for?
Thanks, John
