OK. So I put 200+ miles on it last week-end. It has to have the smoothest ride of anything on the road. I rode a tank of gas out and my butt and my beat-up back did not care. I never feel any bike has enough power after riding a Honda cbr1100. It corners nice. Has nice lights. Loves to run 75-80 no matter what the signs say. It handles the interstate better than my Vulcan and Honda did. Feels very well made. Has a better 0-60 time than my CB750. It never feels heavy, that always seems strange to me. But... what is with the engine braking the bike down to 7 mph? You have to hold the throttle all the time or you go into "we are now quickly slowing down" mode. If I switch to manual and up shift to 6th, it will seem like it is coasting somewhat. I like to let go of the throttle without getting thrown into the w/Shield. If they could fix that problem the mileage would go up a lot. The electric w/shield is made for 4 ft tall people, you can raise it from so very low to plain old LOW. You can get a taller windshield which is great I put bought one right right away: You can buy it here maybe you can find it cheaper: www.scooterwest.com/item_details/Suzuki-Burgman-650-Larger-Windshield/1868Here it is on 650 exec trike: I also have a taller one on the 150 trike: Alleyoop

I just started riding and I'm 43. Looks like we are getting a late start. little bit, i guess. little bit. i like to think i appreciate it more being i drove for 27 years prior in very congested traffic conditions. now traffic doesn't exist being i ride in California where i just ride right through it. i figure my swing from scooter to motorcycle and back to scoot on account of age will be shorter, but maybe a bit sweeter i will never give up small scooters, though. even if riding MC's. i will always have one scooter, at least. i'll just switch to a BIG one like a 'Burg when the mechanics of operating a MC are no longer kind to an aging body or mind. hopefully i have at least 20 good years left in me until a maxi scoot arrives. maybe even a bit longer saw a guy post on another forum been riding many a year. finally traded in his last MC for a Yamaha Majesty at the ripe young age of.....81! i can deal with that

Motorcycles are a totally different riding experience. For me, I have a small scooter, for the fun rides, and rides around town. It has saved the car over 2500 miles on maintenance.
I have a mid sized scoot, for the medium rides, which I'll hopefully use more and more. And a motorcycle, for the longer rides.
I like the idea of getting a Suzuki TU250X, some people reported between 80 and 100MPG (fuel injected).
Still, I'd prefer to have a small scooter, that's good on gas, and saves the car/big motorcycle

Well I have logged over 700 miles on the girl now, and I find that I like it more and more every mile I put on it. I hurt my back 30 years ago and all bikes hurt my back... except this one. I love the seat on the old standards because you could side your butt back if it got sore. I hate all cruisers with that saddle type seat that puts you back on your tailbone. It still wants to lull me to sleep because so little is required to ride this thing. It is as smooth as silk and if you do hit a big bump I swear it tries to apologize for bothering you. I find the lean angle surprisingly ample, and has the power to pull you through the twisties. This is a very interesting bike. The tranny is a pain at 35-45 mph unless you shift it into manual. It feels like it is constantly searching for a gear ratio and not finding it. Due to the engine hold back brakes are almost not needed, so I expect someone to rear end me some day. All in all I just might come to love this very unusual bike.

I'll tell you what...I have a SYM RV250 that I LOVE! However, being the humane person that I am, I will trade you, titile for title, so you can have that "road feel" back and I will take your Burgie and suffer through the pains of getting used to it. I'm a big believer in helping out my fellow man whenever I can! Dang, and I was going to offer him my Retro 10" wheeled 150.... if he want road feel, try a 10" wheeled mono shock scoot at 57mph.... It's an exciting experience... especially with that small rear drum brake... I love my little scoot, but I'd trade it in a minute for that burger....
