I have a sunl Chinese scooter and having trouble getting it to start. I found a thick green wire attached to the engine block but the other end is just dangling. Any body know where it goes?

to get it started you need fuel,compression, fired then you can ask the question like no spark plug fire or something like that. Then some one should get you help.

Sounds like the loose wire is the ground. It should go from the engine to the negative battery terminal.

is the engine cranking with the electric starter?
