I'm retired, no job to commute to, but rode today anyway. Temperature ranging from high 40s to mid 50s with sunshine! This is rare this time of year in NE Ohio. The only downer was the high wind. It's spooky to be shoved half a lane one way then the other from the wind gusts, so I only got maybe 40 miles of mixed roads, Interstate highways to narrow unlined township roads.

Rode most of the week and it almost got too warm to keep the liner in my jacket today on the evening commute today even though it was quite chilly in the mid 70's the sun was still pretty intense.

Yea! I finally got to ride in today. 35deg. Can't feel my fingers..lol A little bit nervous since I have to run an errand after work to the next town over. Really steep hill I have to go up also on the way home. Hill I go up now is pretty steep and I hit a max of 34mph going up it. Don't feel bad because most people go slow up it anyway. This new hill is a little steeper and longer On the plus side it should warm up to about 50 for the ride home

3rd day in a row for me. Monday went Brilliantly. Hill wasn't as steep as I thought and the speed limit was only 30mph. Able to fly up it.
On another note, I've lost 15 lbs and that doesn't even equate to an extra 1mph going up my steep hill I hit every day?

I commuted 60 mi round trip to work today for the first time since Christmas. The weather has been great, but I had been working 12hr days until I finished a project last weekend. I had a 20mph headwind on the way home today. The buffeting wind sounded like someone beating on my helmet, even though I have a wind screen installed.

Been riding to work almost every day for weeks now. It's going to be getting up in the 80's most of the week and is prime riding weather here. A little brisk in the morning before the sun rises to ride without the liner in my jacket and then too warm to keep the liner in once the sun come full up. Have to bring two pairs of gloves too since the perforated are too cold in the morning and the insulated are too warm in the afternoon.
Some days I really get torn between the Red Italian Convertible or the Silver Italian Bullet.
A co-worker was lamenting that he wished he could get a bike like mine to ride to work instead of the Ducati MultiStrada 1200 he rides. Less than 35 mpg, not much fun in tight traffic and always searching for the right gear. I almost have him convinced to add an Aprilia Scooter to his 2 Ducati Stable. There are a number of Sport City 250's with low miles on them selling for about $1,500 to $2,000 right now.
