In what I hope will soon land solidly in the 'GOOD' column, I can finally announce that we have officially become the San Diego dealers for BMS. We just got our dealer's license the other day, and are a couple of weeks away from carrying any inventory, but we're incredibly excited to be repping them and hope to help show the Southern most SoCal area what a great Chinese scooter looks like, and what a difference a great Brick & Mortar dealer can make. It's a work in progress, but we hope to serve for years to come!

With the help of you guys (and many others) we did a LOT of research before deciding on a flagship brand. We're thrilled that we managed to get one of the best of breed franchises. We hope to do them proud.

Alas, Cyborg, the Bi-Metro isn't in their current line-up. Not sure if it's a matter of inventory or that they've discontinued it. I'll be happy to find out for you on Monday, though.

The Pallazo is sexy, Itallian-style fun. Inventory at the end of the summer is a little low at the warehouse, but we're definitely bringing in what we can of the Palazzo to start. Glad yours is a peach!

My only concern with BMS is that they don't have a Chassis # 5 style offering. We sold a ton of this style because it really fits a TALL and/or BIG rider. As for the Premier 150 ... great styling, everyone loves it, but tough to sell especially to women because it's so wide and they have a tough time straddling it flatfoot at stoplights. Just some observations from selling scooters for 8 years.

Second, do you think the Kerrigan fills that niche? I love the 16" tires. Haven't yet ridden one, but I will have by the end of next week.

Personally I really like the 16"wheel scoots. The ride is so much nicer. We sold a gazillion of the 14" CFMOTO scoots in their day. For some reason, we didn't have much luck selling the 16". I think it has to do with the fact that new riders are drawn to what they perceive as a "traditional" scooter and it takes a seasoned scooter rider to realize the advantages and comfort of the 16" vs the 12" or 13".
Again, personally, I'm not wild about the Style#5....but I learned that what I think really doesn't matter....it's what the customer thinks, and that style was probably one of our biggest sellers.
Case in point, when we got our first shipment of SYM's, we got one in every color. I thought the " powder blue" was the butt-ugliest color on earth. SOLD it within 24 hours of it hitting the floor.
