Almost time to think about changing the pads in the front brake. BUT THERE AREN'T ANY CALIPER BOLTS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Instead, there are 2 rubber things where bolts should be. Anyone have any experience with this thing?

Nuts on the Back side. That other is 100% Genuine Fake ABS. just a lousy check valve to prevent a Hydraulic Spike. Ya ya Fake ABS.

Dmn, My set is the same except for I have Cap Nuts on the Back Side of the Caliper Mounting/Holder Pins. I couldn't see Bright, Clear or close enough to see if you have Allen Pins in form the Back Side instead of the Nuts I have?

Hahaha...that's funny. Was just thinking the same thing about that lousy valve/reservoir thing last week when i bleed the brakes. Now i'm wondering if there is a way to bypass it...probably not worth my time.
*so you sure those rubber pieces aren't just caps to the bolts? I can't imagine that design would be so crappy as to have to remove the wheel.
**edit...well that's stupid. I guess you do have to drop the wheel. Caliper will slide off once you do.

Remove the 2 bolts holding the caliper onto the shock.... The caliper should come right off... Not sure why you jumped right to deciding to get it off by removing the wheel. I've seen some calipers that do not have any nuts or bolts holding the caliper together, they simply pull apart and just have rods with rubber ends. The disc and position of the caliper keep them together.

Anyone have any experience with this thing? Lol, nice . my caliper slides over the rotor and then bolts to the shocks . instead of changing the break pads , your suppose to buy a new scoot. Its a throw away model. One time use only .

Many think that that's an abs unit. But on your model scoot " the throw away model " its a self destruct mechanism. No need to put the scoot in the trash , just set the self destruct mechanism to disintegrate and your done. Case closed.

there are bolts in there some where,,probably under the rubber plugs,,,as far as taking off the wheel to access the pads,,,aint going to happen as the caliper is inside of the rim lip ,,so the caliper has to come off before the wheel can be removed,,,and the floating piston "abs" is the biggest piece o kaka to come down the pipe since the last duce i just did,,,nothing but a waste of space and weight,,,,and just another part to go wrong later,,when the seals go out and the fluid gets past them and gets behind where the spring is ,,,,

oh as a side note crack the two allen head pad pin bolts before you remove the caliper,,,it will make it a whole lot easier to get the pads out,,then just hand tighten them and torque them to spec when the caliper is back on it's perch

From the pics it looks like the bottom bolt is an allen bolt behind the rubber cap and the top bolt goes through from the back and is hidden by the spoke on the left side of the second pic.
