I'm back at home, leg is a bit swollen but it isn't hurting much, I can move it and put about 20% of the body weight on it with the crutches.

Well don't move around too much, and try to be as comfortable as possible....this might be the time to check out the boots and other safety gear on the net. Speedy recovery!

I second spandi's advice. Don't move it much unless the dr says to. Follow those dr's orders to the letter. If he tells you to wear one green sock, then wear one green sock.
My toe surgery 10 years ago, the dr was amazed how well it healed. When I told him I followed his instructions completely, he seemed surprised. When I was talking to his nurse last month about the upcoming re-surgery of the toe, I mentioned to her about following the dr's every order exactly as he told me. She said she wished all their patients would do that, and that far too many decided they knew better how to get their foot to best heal.
Me, I figure I spend LOTS of money, and even way-more of my insurance's money, to have my toe fixed by a man who spent even more money than all that to learn exactly how to fix my toe. I'm not going to try second-guessing him. One green sock? You got it, doc!
Prayers for fast--and CORRECT--healing, ricardo! Enjoy those pain meds! heh heh....

That leg looks in pretty good condition considering what happened. Mine was port wine bruised from the lower calf to the upper inner thigh but then again I am a senior citizen so things just don't heal as well as they did 50 years ago.
Behave now and don't mess up your Docs good work.

That leg looks pretty gnarly. You will have fun telling your grandchildren all about it one day.

Okay, this cracks me up.
rocky says that leg looks in pretty good condition. bender says that leg looks pretty gnarly.
So who's right, ricardo? Does your leg look pretty good, or gnarly?

Which leg is more Macho monday! Well, ricardo would have to post a pic of his other leg so we can compare them. But I would say without seeing his other leg that this leg is more macho. I mean, look what it's gone through. And without a lot of complaint, sounds like. Say ricardo, is this leg more macho? Or the other? Curious 'Kats and Speculatin' Spandis want to know. >'Kat
