Thx for all the help. Im checking my oil tonite. I should be getting a bbk and a9 cam, uni filter and starter in a week . Be my first build. I Strongly Encourage you to get a book and do some Reading on Basic Fundamentals of this Build. Do this before you listen to Hear say, Old Tales and Learn Bad Habbitt's It will pay off big in the long run. BIG! Follow the Five P's Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance. Good Luck! When it comes to listening to others , many of us have been there and done that . if someone tell you something then you hear the opposite from someone else, ask who actually tried and tested what they are saying. You will sometimes get someone telling you to do something because its what they heard or thought would or would not work. Its best to get your info from someone who has actually been there and done what they are saying or from someone who has tested certain mods.

Remember, when you install that uni-filter, it is going to be significantly louder. I am talking LOUD. I threw mine out as soon as I tried it.
Look up my post on installing BBK's. Learn from my mistakes.

Learn from my mistakes. Yes, you will have much more Intake Volume. I wear a Full Face Arai helmut that incorporates Noise reduction. it doesn't bother me, but thats me

The old timers from Not Wearing a Helmut or just one of those little brain buckets with Ears Exposed have suffered Significant Hearing Loss from Wind Noise alone., Along with the Old Hard Tails, if not in a Wheel Chair were on Walkers and Caines.

Here are always bugs or rocks flying up and hitting you in the face . you see so many moto riders riding with no windshield and no helmet ! I don't understand it. It seems like every time I raise my visor up , I get a bug in the eye !! Its not fun riding around with one eye open .

Seems even if I have my face shield a slit open for some extra air leaving a stop light I get something in my eye. Then the best experience is having one of those Texas Sized June Bugs hitting you square in the Shield at speed, scares the snit out of me, like a bullet hitting. or a Wasp or Giant Bee is also equally fun

Agreed on the full face helmet. Along with eye protection, and noise reduction, when it's cold on winter mornings, I cannot imagine having your face exposed to that kind of frigid wind.
I listen to music on earbuds when I'm riding. I guess I shouldn't say that, because I think it's illegal. But, that's what I do. Talk about noise reduction, ha ha.

Yeah, I guess it is. Though, I can still hear. I often wonder what I will need to hear that is relatively quiet?
