Or just use the gasket maker as a thread sealer and it will seal the threads and under the bolt head. I know many call it a screw , but its more like a bolt.

i had the old rubber gasket which I brought with me at home depot and the O ring was the same exact size and popped right into the top of the chain tension er, it was a perfect fit. I went for another ride and no oil drops. Now back to tuning

Hi All, just wanted to post an update for others that look at this post. I have no more oil leaks, the scooter looks nice and clean. Thank goodness it was not the cylinder as I had miss diagnosed where the oil was coming from. At the end the culprit was the missing screw and gasket that goes on top of the chain tensioner. Thank you all for the help
