Hello everyone. I've had a 150cc BMS Znen Heritage Scooter for about 2 years now and she's been a trooper since day one. We've spilled about three times and recently I had to adjust her valves after she'd no longer start. She's working now, but a few days after adjusting her valves, she started showing some weird behavior during idle. She shakes heavily when she's in idle, like you can hear the windshield and plastic rattle constantly. And when I try to go from 0-10 mph, she shakes even harder and accelerates very slowly. Once past 10 mph, she accelerates normally and doesn't have any issues, although the engine sounds weird (not sure how to describe it).Idling and accelerating from zero feels... rough, and I'm worried that it'll continue to get worse and I want to keep using her for a least two more years. Does anyone know what's wrong and what I should look at?

How many Miles on Her? How often oil changes? Have the Valves ever been adjusted by anyone since it was brand new? Is the Scooter Stored during Winter months?

She has about 2000 miles on her, and I generally use her almost every day except for the weekends.
I change her oil every 800 miles, so I've changed the oil twice.
The valves were adjusted for the first time by me about a month ago. Since then, no one had adjusted the valves since I first bought it.
The Scooter is not stored during Winter months. I typically use it during the winter months (I live in california).
I have not cleaned the carb since I bought her, which has been about two years, so that might definitely be the first thing I do.

As a fellow winter rider I would suggest cleaning the carb after winter even if it runs well. Salt and traction sand can be sucked in. How's the filter look? Clean that every 500 miles. Make sure to oil the filter with filter oil to prevent small debris from passing the filter.

I know parts of Cali gets snow in the mountains, but I don't think he is in one of those areas and Road Salt and traction sans are not issues Correct me if I'm wrong please

Nope. Those are not issues. I live in a suburb outside of LA, so its always either sunny or a little cold. The most we get is rain over here.
I think I have an idea of what to check then. I'll take a look at the carb first. Thanks guys.

Tbh , it sounds as if there may be a CVT issue . maybe a problem in the clutch . what type of belt are you running and have you ever inspected the CVT before ?
