Hi all. Just purchased a new bike and decided to join up. Former motorcycle rider here, so I am no stranger to the road but new to scooters. I had recently purchased a second hand 2007 50cc Roketa Bahama with 300 miles on it, in red and white with a black grill over the lights. The little one affectionately named it Spider Man. Unfortunately I weigh 200 lbs, it wasn't capable of taking me up hill or stay at a decent speed on any inclined road. I decided to sell it and used the proceeds to acquire my new scoot, a 150cc Jonway, model YY150T-28. It is solid black and sleek, earning it the nickname Venom. This new bike is a 2007 with 6 miles on it that sat in climate controlled storage since it was new. It was sold to me for a mere $500. I am in the process of refurbishing the bike. I love the fat 13 inch tires. So far I have removed the old and dead battery and a replacement AGM one is due in the mail Monday. Tires are good, no cracks or blemishes and are at the proper psi. Brakes all work, but am thinking I may have the brake fluid replaced to be safe, opinions? Sunday I will be draining the carb and tank of old gas and see what the inside of the carb is like. Will pull the spark plug and see if it's clean, check filters and oil levels, and see if I can fire this thing up. Wish me luck!

Hoses all look good. Fuel line was disconnected so carb is pristine and clean. Drained out old residual fuel from tank and flushed with fresh gas. Found an inline filter in the bucket but will get a new one rather than wonder. Will check oil tonight and install new battery since tracking shows it will be here today. I might actually have it running tonight!

As I understand it you want the solid axel,,,the independent one has its woes,,,,,,see if they'll knock off a few hundred and run laughing into the night if they give you a refund
