Hello just got a new taotao150 quantum as i sold my older one. It has been a good ride for me but lately today after i got back from a ride i heard a slight squeaking sound. This also happened after i had to brake very hard as an idiot went into my lane ignoring my horn. <_< Anyways i got home propped it up and the front wheel squeaks when i turn it like its grabbing. The bake wheel also does this. I just got the scooter a week ago from a local shop. It currently has 102 miles on it. I was wondering does this normally happen or do they need adjusted? maybe the brake fluid is low? I never had this happen to my taotao50

Brake fluid would not cause squeaking, does your scooter have disc brakes front and rear or drum in the rear? For the disk brakes can sometimes buy anti-squeal from auto parts store goes on the back of the pads, may help may not. If disk in rear same thing, if drum may have some brake dust in between the shoes and the drum. Shouldn't hurt anything but does get annoying, on my scooter if I quickly and lightly grab and let go sometimes will stop the squeal.

Try cleaning front w/ bounty p. towel and brake part cleaner, may have residue from being new. New pads may also be duds as with any chinese part! Ask someone if it doesn't go away-could be safety concern!!

Squeezing generally is a sign of dust but if you had it in the air and it has a sticking point the disc may be contaminated with something,,, oil or grease residue perhaps,,,,,I use acetone or lacquer thinner to clean discs
