got the gas tank from sunright now I just need my new igniton to show up getting parts has bin like pulling teeth not fun at all Try ebay or try to find a dealer that deals with that brand how i get all my taotao parts |

I have the same issue with my front brake I've kind of just ignored it i think ill give thr brake cleaner a try never occurred to me Yeah i never thought of using it before. I will say this though the brake pads could be worn down mine had to be replaced after 2k miles on my old scooter |

Hello just got a new taotao150 quantum as i sold my older one. It has been a good ride for me but lately today after i got back from a ride i heard a slight squeaking sound. This also happened after i had to brake very hard as an idiot went into my lane ignoring my horn. <_< Anyways i got home propped it up and the front wheel squeaks when i turn it like its grabbing. The bake wheel also does this. I just got the scooter a week ago from a local shop. It currently has 102 miles on it. I was wondering does this normally happen or do they need adjusted? maybe the brake fluid is low? I never had this happen to my taotao50

I ran out of gas once at the end of a hill once.It was the longest push to the top where a gas station was.

Hello im new to scooters you guys helped me alot with my last problem so thanks for this great community  . on to the real topic. I'm going to be putting aftermarket parts on my taotao 50cc ATM50-A1. Scooters in my area are still in the baby stages. I'd like to add a windshield,100cc bbk, and a new speedometer to show rpms. Here are the products im getting mostly i wanna know if the 100cc bbk is worth it for this price? www.ebay.com/itm/321416755528www.ebay.com/itm/161018761908www.ebay.com/itm/321432641005Will the speedometer work? i'd have to refit it i know but does it just plug and play? Will the bbk decrease my engine life? If yes how much? (I'm having a mechanic install it) The windshield is for looks. Also does booster bottles actually work? And are these good aftermarket parts to start with? I'm mostly doing this to help me up hills increase mph by a little and help for when i resell it. |

Hello new to this place been stalking around for a few days. I've decided to join this community anyways scoots are not popular where i live and theres only one shop to get them fixed and they charge 50 bucks for a simple oil change. Anyways i just got this taotao 50cc ATM50-A1 with no problems well around 350 miles things started going wrong. Here are the things wrong with it -Rarely it will die when i go to idle at a stoplight -a slight knocking/kinking type sound around the cvt where the kick start is -Huge performance loss im talking getting this thing to 35 is a hassle -i went from going up a hill doing 25 to doing 15mph Now the shop i bought it from is really new only two weeks open but they charge crazy prices on repairs and i've only had this scoot for a week. I'm doing my first oil change today since the stock oil people say is bad. Anyways if anyone has any idea what could be wrong i'd greatly appreciate it i plan to check the cvt belt i think its called today to make sure its not lose. Also im starting to believe the shop doesnt take pride in to putting these together due to my seat being wobbly not tightened properly and my mirror also. heres a pick of the scoot i have ![]()  |
