My issue is , if this guy is such a " master mechanic" , doesn't he know you need the keys to fix the thing ? No you don't, you only need a screwdriver to start it. |

If you are talking about jumping the scoot at the starter. You still need to turn the ignition on . my scoot will not start with the ignition off. Yes they can manipulate the ignition bit the ignition would need to be taken out and rewired. |

Any reputable mechanic would ask for the keys so they don't have to break into the ignition to start it.

My problem with it all is ive been politely texting the guy for three days. On the 4th day now im mad thretem to file a police report. Not only does he have my property. He will not tell me were my propert is in my opinion that is theft

I meant you have to break into it , as it taking parts off and getting to the wires. |
