I hear ya, that's one thing I like about living here , especially in PA ! Its not that I want to shoot someone ,lol . I've never pulled my gun out on anyone ever , but its nice to know you can protect yourself without having to go to helll and back to prove anything.

If gun control laws are hard, how about sword control laws? Can you own a "functional sharp pointy thing"? And then if baddie comes breaking in, stab him in the nuts? Or at least slice open his guts--that's real bad to recover from.

Hopefully he catches it . it would be terrible if the intruder actually ends up stabbing him !! Maybe that's not a good idea.

As for the knife, you just put it in his hand after you slice'n'dice him. "Gosh Mr Occifer, he had a knife, I was just defending myself!"

When he falls and is dying , he'll more than likely drop it .

Knife laws are not uniform and are in the news lately. A knife that would be considered a gentleman's pocket knife in some communities will be classified as a weapon in others allowing officers to legally respond with lethal force if being brandished or garner a mandatory jail sentence on concealed weapons charges if found on your person in a police search. In some places the way the laws are written even a Boy Scouts utility knife could get you in trouble especially if the blades are easy to open.

My boss just "scolded" me yest for not having my knife on me. Of course, it's quite possibly the smallest little Swiss pocketknife ever made. I doubt the FAA would ever confiscate it. My other coworkers call it my toe stabber. Toad stabber? Whatever, they mock my little knife. Until they need it, that is....

I found a new place, plenty of room to work on my scoot and the Landy, I've lived on this town before, it is a quite place, I'm confident that I won't have troubles with burglars here

Good to hear that, ricardo! Hopefully it's not a lot farther away from your job, nor a lot more rent.
So glad you've got a safer place to live! Still, consider getting a functional sharp pointy thing for defence, just in case....
