I'm just wondering, with warmer weather finally arriving, what mods are next on your list (or possibly next)? Or what mods did you do over the winter and/or early spring? What kind of projects? New mirrors?...etc..etc.

Still working on all of my reliability upgrades... getting rid of the original vacuum operated fuel pump, changing some bulbs to LED, adjust valves, fix kick start (that I somehow broke when I changed to a gates belt).

On my 150cc, I plan on switching all lights to LEDs, switching to sliders, installing a cheap android phone for maps and theft prevention/recovery, and a 61mm BBK with uni intake and enlarged exhaust header. Hoping to reach 80, I can already hit 65-70 thanks to the gearing and 16" wheels.
On my 50cc, I plan on switching gears and finally enlarging the exhaust header. Hoping to reach between 55-60, currently topping out around 50.

Gonna get a junk scoot and fix it up and convert it to a barebone design for the warmer weather. Take off all the plastic, hide the wires in the frame, etc.

I've been looking for used scoots on craigslist to toy around with. Not too many to choose from locally. As of now, my small garage is more of a storage area than anything, lol. Need more room!

I have a BBK in mind I saw that thread of yours. I have a 50cc (well 72cc) and there is no turning back to a stock 50cc-- EVER, lol! Big difference in power.

I just have to do something for the scoot during the NE Ohio winter or get cabin fever.
Last winter: Made a new trailer hitch point for my TMAX Modified and repainted the one wheel trailer for better towing and appearance. Serviced the variator Replaced the belt. Replaced all the brake pads Replaced all three air filters It got a new set of tires last fall.
Sometime this summer A paver stone path to get my scooter out of the muddy bog that is my back yard in the spring. I will probably make a new wind shield extension
Next winter I plan to completely redo the trailer to lighten it up and improve its appearance.
Minor projects on the back burner are A new home made LED auxiliary headlight or two Brake and turn lights on the top box A new air scoop for the wind shield vent holes Maybe mount the air horn, relay, and compressor I've had for years

I usually replace mine (only have one) once a year and most likely will do that on wed/thurs of next week.

Maybe a top case. It adds more reflectors and possibly tail lights for riding in the dark, too.

Well for me my stock gears in the gearbox were 51/15. I have 49/17 in there with a 72cc. I've been debating taking the middle ground and trying the 50/16 gears and using heavier rollers. Mainly to see if my top speed is better during windy days.
