'dude, are you scooting those awful roads with awfuller drivers? Egads! >'Kat Yes, 'Kat it's true. My trusty 250cc scooter is my main source of transportation. Although I might be looking into a 600cc scooter soon to deal with the faster freeway speeds. My scooter does a respectable 80mph, but that's flat out all she's got. I need a scooter that's capable of quick acceleration even at 75mph in case I need it. My Grand Dink is valiant, but doesn't cut the mustard in the kind of murderous highway traffic I find myself in each day. I might even have to take a serious look at a bike with more like an 1100cc engine or bigger that can really cut a rug when the throttle gets turned. I don't think I've seen a scooter with that kind of muscle. At least not yet anyway. I'll never get rid of the Grand Dinkster, but soon it won't be my daily driver. The wild ride to work and back each day demands something more muscular.

Hey Leo, why didn't you paint the case white like the rest of Minnie? And why haven't you mounted that swan yet and posted pics? >'Kat Kat,
I think if the case was white, it would look like a giant refrigerator... LOL! It is a giant, and the black sort of reduces its presence... Maybe? And it is textured, and the kind of plastic that paint won't stick to. On top of that, the Kymco white is pearlescent, and matching it would be a real PIA...
As for the swan... HeHe... I love that thing... I want to mount my auxiliary driving lights, and will make a mount and hookup for the birdie all at the same time. I am converting it to LED from its original 1940's bulb. All in all, quite a bit of work, and it's been FREEZING here for some time... I've been hunkered-down trying to stay warm... LOL!
Spring IS coming!
