Has anybody else had trouble with any aftermarket horns? I upgraded to the Fiamm freeway blaster a long time ago but it doesnt always work for me its like it has to be positioned perfectly or something. The way it works for me is that I cant really crank the mounting bracket down real tight or let the horn touch anything like the frame or whatever and even then it doesnt work all the time but while im testing it I could usually get it in to a position where it will work if i give it a light tap with a screwdriver or wrench or something. Then it will work most of the time while im riding. I thought it was a fluke maybe a defective horn or something until I had to replace a car horn so I got a Blazer highway blaster basically the same design and tried that on the scooter and had the same problem. not sure what the deal is with them maybe somebody else knows Im stumped. shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/fiamm-freeway-blaster-high-note-horn-7210223/6200014-P

Looks like a bad contact, maybe a loose soldering point

Worked great.

Go to the junkyard and get a couple horns from a big American sedan...

Personally, I think the best way to go would be one of those locomotive horns. Everyone and their dog will get out of your way. =)
