My floorboard side panel was bare ever since I painted my scoot this summer , so I figured I need to find a sticker for it. Its been on there for a few weeks now but I think It fits pretty well . what do you think ? KEEP IT ? OR TOSS IT ?

My vote is that you should keep it. Now you can conduct tests to determine if it helps you go faster.

And I have 2 of them "one on each side " , so we're lookin at a possible 20mph gain !! Then again considering it sticks out about 1/10 of a mm it may cause so much drag that I lose up to 20mph !!!. I'll keep u posted.

Just to let everyone in on a little secret , adding round foglights like mine added about 5 horse power . it has something to do with the extra light . when I hit the switch its like the extra light traveling at light speed pulls the sccoot forward making the scoot gain an extra 5,horses !!!

geh This reminded me of the old "downhill dispute", so I went back and found your videos. Happens i have access to some photometric analysis facilities used in examining earth observation data. Ran your video through several different analyses. Results maybe a bit interesting. Probability with % confidence was the slope of the road was between -1 degree and +1.5 degrees. So, might have been a slight downhill grade (equally likely uphill), but either way negligible. Thus some confidence in your readings, presuming your speedo is accurate.

You should check out my video I posted in my speedo accuracy thread , it shows me riding on the same road , however in the opposite direction " slightly uphill " I manage to hit 60mph uphill "well actually 59.8 to be accurate ,lol" and that was without crouching over ,lol . I would have more than likely hit near 62 if I had crouched . so 73mph crouched down the slight decline and I'm sure around 62 up the same slight incline . finally after all the downhill controversy and providing a video of a dead on speedo , I was able to show how a scoot with a 58.5 bbk and the 32mm carb can hit at least 67mph on a straight shot , considering if the road would have leveled off after the uphill run I could have easily picked up the 5mph to reach the 67 I've always claimed . it was def fun and I had a heck of a time showing what's possible .

Okay, so, what's it mean? The sticker, that is. Not the downhill dispute. I'll say, I do totally approve of the Shell stickers ! >'Kat

I looked it up and of course it means to hang loose. Thank you for the replies.

Hang loose looks good for your scoot. I agree, keep the stickers!
And before I went pure clean gas, I only filled at Shell or BP. They use additives to try to counter some of the garbage corn causes.

It bothers me when i have to stop at another gas station other shen shell . there are no more BP stations near where I live anymore . the closest is probably 20 miles away .
