The needle bearing in the clutch is probably the most overlooked maintenance item on a scooter. Few know that it needs to be greased every time they service the belt or slide the clutch off the driven shaft. Most just wipe off the old grease that they see on the shaft and then replace the clutch dry.

My cvt drive gets really warm. I can't even touch the clutch or variator after a short drive. If I didn't drive in the rain, I'd chop holes and vents in my cover. i also have this problem too. i think the best way to deal with it is to use a ram air intake of some kind into the transmission case. or you could change the final drive gearbox ratio to lower the transmission rpm. and get an oil cooler too. its harder to make a hot engine run colder than it is to make a cold engine run hotter, unless you live at the north pole, there is always a benefit from adding an oil cooler. That's a good idea. I think it can't be good for the belt and rollers to run that hot.

I was thinking an old fashioned vacuum cleaner attachment, the T shaped sort used for stairs and upholstery, should work as a perfect ram scoop into the CVT box. The ones that are 6" across or less shouldn't be too hard to fit without being noticeable, and even if it is noticed, it's ghetto fabulous!

spare fuses, wire strippers, e-tape, extra oil i keep some in those little 50ml shot bottles usually found on airplanes and at hotel mini bars, and some spare gas in about a 20oz bottle or so would be good for emergencies to get to a gas station, zip ties or cable ties, surgical and mechanics gloves, some hand sanitizer and a hand towel, tire gauge, jumper cables, a battery charger, spare bulbs, some rain gear, paper towels, napkins... the list goes on and on
