hunter my man if you find a solution you like, let me know! Haha, my back and butt really get to killing me after a long day of riding and my girl who usually rides in the back always says she wishes there were a more comfy seat available. We're considering redoing ours ourselves with some sort of gel or foam padding at the least in the passenger spot. I'm experimenting myself, the one thing I dislike about my ride is the seat's feel. By accident, I discovered that for me, a small hump on the seat directly in front of my pelvis under my upper legs feels much better, sort of like a saddle seat, but not that big of a hump. I was riding home from the pool with my towel folded under me on the seat, and it slipped and scrunched up into this humped position, and it felt great, so I plan on redesigning with that in mind. I also feel too high on my seat, so I plan on shaving it down and giving up a couple of inches in the storage area underneath. Go by your local scooter shop and ask them about replacement seats. I've noticed a bin behind my store that's full of seat buckets, indicating they may be sold as a set (bucket and seat). They may have some damaged seats that you could experiment on by shaving the foam till you find a shape that feels right for you.

Been working on my seat a bit lately. I've added a very luxurious full wool on sheep skin. The side with the wool that I sit on gives about 2 inches of compressed I haven't had a chance to really put it thought it's paces, but can tell you i'm seeing significant improvements. I know that adding some padding wouldn't be hard to incorporate ea closed cell foam for even would give you the best response. Pix will be up soon..

Been working on my seat a bit lately. I've added a very luxurious full wool on sheep skin. I love that stuff. I used to have some skins. My guitar strap is lined with it. Best cushion ever. Shame you have to cover up your beautiful leather work. Looking forward to seeing what kind of seat you can make with oil tanned leather.

Naa I'm not covering the whole seat with it. When fitting the skin I first laid to whole skin on the seat and it covered all of it. It really was just too much fir. I took and cut a piece just large enough to cover my butt pan I have molded into the leather and that looked way better. Because it's stark WHITE, I'll only use it on long rides. The cool thing about this stuff is it can be hand washed and hung to dry.
As an added bonus I enough left over to make a sweet coat for my american bulldog.

I had lamb's wool covers in my VW Beetle and loved them. I can see them being a great seat cover. One of the first differences I noticed between my ZNEN and my Vespa P200E was the seat. The ZNEN has the same padding most of the Chinese scoots have, which is fine for my 150lbs, but what's underneath the Vespa seat makes all the difference. It looks like this : I notice a big difference after a long ride. The bumps aren't so jarring and I don't feel as tired. It doesn't bottom out. It's probably 3x as heavy as my Chinese seat, but worth it. Perhaps a retrofit of something similar?

Yeah, it's pretty comfy. It makes the bike more comfortable than you'd think just looking at her.
