Ordered a set of main jets (3 pack) for PD24J keihin style carb. I have Keihin main jet kit but 115 too lean and 117.5 too rich. So I ordered the following from KNMparts in sizes 116, 118, 120. **** My question is, does KNMparts main jets match inline with keihin main jet size / specificaions ? The link to the item at KNMpats is : Jet 3 Pak

I don't think anyone would know the answer to your question unless someone actually metered the jets from KNMparts and matched them to Kehin jets. Also it is hard to believe that a 117.5 is to rich when you say a 115 is to lean. I think your splitting hairs and are not tuning the carb right. Alleyoop

Well, you may be right. My setup is still being tweaked from carb to exhaust. The 150cc cylinder is stock - the head is big port on intake / exhaust (stock size valves I believe - stainless steel) and the muffler mod I did was a set of 6 custom gaskets between muffler and header pipe connection with a 1-1/4" cut in gasket to vent the extra fumes.
I also changed the carb needle with one from a 125/150 carb rebuild kit that has an adjustable needle.
I have tried all settings on the needle using the 117.5 main jet and leanest setting on the needle still causes hesitation spots while cruising 1/2 throttle (40 mph).
The hesitation occurs in sputters after maintaining 1/2 throttle and speed for 20 - 30 seconds.
If I throttle back a 1/4 it simply winds down (no speeding up / no hesitation).

Its hesitating not bogging right ? If it's hesitating it may be an electrical issue like coil or cdi , bogging would be more than likely a fuel issue .

That is a RICH condition drop the needle 1 notch at a time(raise the clip). Also look at the NEEDLE that your carb originally had and look at the thickness and taper and length of the ones you put in, that makes a big difference

I had an issue with my scoot not going going over 20 or so mph , it would start to hesitate if I gave it more throttle . I found the spark plug boot was barely on the plug . I pushed it back on and it fixed the prob .

Little tip for the day , to those that find or found the boot cap partly came off or completely off the plug. Since the coil is attached to the frame and not the swing arm you must have some slack on the coil wire going to the plug. Otherwise with the movement of the swing arm it will pull on the coil wire and pull the boot cap off the plug. Alleyoop
