I want to get the most torque that I can, Top speed is not an issue. I have a 150 gy6 with a 60 mm big bore kit, I was thinking of using a 2000 main spring and 1500rpm clutch springs. The lowest gear set I could find is a 13/43. I think stock is 13/40 so that isnt that big of a difference. Right now I have a ncy variator with 11 gram rollers. I ordered 12 gram sliders can I still use that variator? and should I look for a smaller diameter variator? What else can I do and what do?

Yes you can use the same variator , and no a different size variator will not change anything for torque. I'm curious what is your top speed ?
What size wheels are on your scoot ? The only thing I can think of would be going with a smaller rim size , other than that if you want more torque your gonna have to up the bore again .

I juSt noticed you said you where " thinking " of using a 2000 main and 1500 rpm springs . Doing this will give u much better takeoff and mid range . It will be a night and day difference .

And the only reason is it will require more rpms before the clutch gets thrown out to grab the bell and turn the wheel. So if currently your scoots throws out the clutch pads say at 2500 rpms add the 1500 rated springs to that rpm number and now the clutch pads will not get thrown out until the rpms reach close to 4000 rpms. All this is rough on the belt and will wear out a belt and or if a cheap belt they will break more often as well as may cause slippish. Think of it as a car clutch, push the clutch in to disengage the clutch from the motors flywheel and give it some gas to get the rpms of the motor up and then let the clutch go and you will shot out. Yes you will def want to buy a quality belt " this is recommended no matter what you do to the scoot " . The 1500 rpm springs are fine and so is the 2000 main spring , I don't recomend going with 2000 rpm springs .
