I finally got my d-mn tires ordered . Lol. I was gonna try a wider back tire but there is barely any room between my shocks so I figured I get a size taller 130/70/13 instead of 130/60/13. I'm just not sure if the tire will fit under the front fender , it's only a 1/2 inch difference but the fender is very close to the front tire . I may have to modify it. I'm also installing taller shocks back on my scoot , the seat will set 1 and 1/2 inches taller then it does now , and with the 1/2 inch taller tire my seat will be a full two inches taller .

I pulled my belt, etc. cover for a 1,000 mile inspection. Except for the initial belt wear dust, which I cleaned out, everything else looked ok to me so I put it back together. It had a Bando Belt. They any good? I also changed the engine oil and found out not to go 700 miles between oil changes. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks!

I was kind enough to let my scooter rest today. I tend to procrastinate, so the plans that I have won't happen today. I want to replace the anti-freeze, replace the rollers with sliders, service the variator, modify the air filter and check the spark plug. Since I replaced the spark plug and air filter, I have had a bit of a power loss on pulling away. The previous plug gap was way over size, and with the new plug, I set the gap at 0.6 as the spec is 0.6 - 0.7

I installed the chrome air scoop , and changed my 42 pilot jet to a 45. it seems to like the change, I am at the middle clip on the needle and 600 feet above sea level. I am waiting for some parts to come in the mail for some cvt changes and I am thinking about painting the luggage rack on the back black. I am thinking this winter I will paint the whole thing black and have a friend of mine air brush some realistic looking flames on it.
