How's it going , I know this has nothing to do with scoots but I'd like to post that it's now been 5 yrs since my daughter Victorias first open heart surgery . She was born with a congenital. Heart defect called hypo-plastic left heart syndrome , which means the left side of her heart didn't develop fully . She has since had 3 other open heart surgeries to reroute arteries from her heart to her lungs , place shunts and stents , and other surgical procedures . Its a very hard thing to go through not knowing how long she will be with us but for now she is doing very good . More than likely she will need a heart transplant sometime in within the next 15 yrs " hopefully not to soon . She is 5 yr old now and starts kindergarten this school year . Here are a couple pics . The first is of Victoria and I a couple months after her second surgery " she was a little over 2 months old " and the 2nd pic is of Victoria about a month ago.  .  |
