How much time and money went into this? How was performance impacted?

Oh boy,,
Im not sure,I would say about $500 in parts and quite a bit of time,,I didn't keep track,,just a hobby for me..the performance is alot better than it was stock,,well the motor is still stock,,If anything the motor runs at its full potential now and is super efficient.
Im planning on doing a big port head,A9 cam,better intake,gear set,and will have to rejet so i will keep you all posted.

I'm gonna get a youtube account up and post a vid of my scoot running , it sounds like a quad much louder then what yours sounds , " I'd rather it not be that loud " I know is hard to capture the true sound thru a cell phone .

I bet the 150s with BBK,s cams,and big port heads, sound pretty mean,,i cant wait for mine to blow up so I can do a BBK..lol

I was thinking about ordering that same exhaust if (when) mine breaks again. I'm getting old though.  I prefer a bit quieter sound from my scooter. I wonder if anyone makes a quiet performance exhaust. I noticed the scoop on your cooling fan shroud. Looks cool. Does it seem to help at all? |

Yes the P&P is quite loud but only when you get on it,,once in cruise mode its not very loud at all...I think the cheaper free flow mufflers from ebay are a bit quieter,,I saw a few videos of them.As for the fan scoop,,I never took any oil temp readings so I'm not sure if it does anything,,I assume it cools down the engine/oil some from what I have read.I also want to wrap my header pipe,,that will help keep the heat off the motor and get it out...
