When I first filled my scoot for the first time with gas I noticed I had a small leak that turned out to just be the carb drain screw on the end of the fitted hose was not tight. After the next 2 fill ups, I had a very small amount of gas leak either when I took it off the center stand and today when I parked it at home using the center stand. I do not over fill it, I stop when the gas reaches the bar in the tank. Any Ideas what I should be looking at?

Check the evap system if its still on there, the gas could still be sloshing up through the vent,,I removed mine cause it was lower than the vent and the can got flooded out with gas if I filled the tank to top.I use a short fuel hose from the tank vent and a small gas filter on the end,,then zip tie the filter higher than the tank vent outlet. No more spill or drips onto my CVT case. Also check fuel pump/petcock,all lines, bowl gasket area, fuel inlet nipple on carb, and tank seams... Might be your issue but might not....good mod either way

My tank sits under my seat in front of the trunk . It dosent have any noticeable vent , I can fill my tank all the way to the cap and I've never had an issue .
