On the inside of each opening where the grips are if you feel around the top, there is a plastic lock tab that if you pull down gently will separate the 2 halves. It is like the metal tab of a soda can except plastic that locks around a plastic center.

Remove both mirrors then you will have to remove 9 screws to separate the 2 halves. The 2 on the instrument cluster that alley pointed out, 2 on the bottom, 2 next to the hand grips on each side and 1 on the bottom facing the front. Then the 2 halves should almost fall apart. My scoot is the same as yours, just a different name. Hope this helps.

When I first filled my scoot for the first time with gas I noticed I had a small leak that turned out to just be the carb drain screw on the end of the fitted hose was not tight. After the next 2 fill ups, I had a very small amount of gas leak either when I took it off the center stand and today when I parked it at home using the center stand. I do not over fill it, I stop when the gas reaches the bar in the tank. Any Ideas what I should be looking at?

I have decided to go with Castrol Edge synthetic 10w40 once my scoot has passed the 500 mile mark(Which will be in about 3 weeks.). Thanks again for the comments.

Thanks for the comments. Changing the oil more often is a good idea. Thanks everyone.

Thanks ramblinman. I also just read that 20w40 would be good also. After the break-in period would you recommend dino, full synthetic or a synthetic blend?

What oil would you recommend for driving my 150 cc in the desert? Temps are running around 108 but will climb to around 115 and I have a 30 mile commute round trip running 35 to 45 mph. It is a new scoot and I will be doing my first oil change at 180 miles, currently I am using Castrol 10w30.

I haven't pulled a bulb out to look at it, but being as how there are only 2 wires to each bulb, I would assume that the left headlight is for low beam and the right is high beam.

Thanks for the replies. I did some more research and as strange as it may seem all of the MC-23's are this way. I was just worried that it might generate too much heat with one headlight for low beam and the other for high and melt the bulb holder like it did on my old Roketa Bermuda.

Hello all. I ordered a 2013 MC-D23 150 cc (Roketa Aruba with a Jonway plaque on it.) and received it the other day. It uses what appears to be a projection headlight system. The problem is when the lights are on dim the left light is very bright and the right is very dim (98/2), turn on high beams and it is reversed (2/98). There are only 2 wires for each headlight, I am used to seeing 3 wires (High/ Low and ground). Is this right or do I have a problem. Thanks for looking.

I have the rear adjusting nut almost as far back as you can go. I figured since I was going to replace my tire it would be a good time. I have over 12,000 miles on her and the shoes are original.

My rear brake shoes need to be replaced, and I was hoping someone that has had a Roketa Bermuda and could tell me what size of shoes I need to order so I don't have to pull the wheel off first. Thanks.

How do you measure the bolt spacing of a stator. Center to center or outside to outside.

Finally got my stator removed. It is 6 poles. Now how do I measure the bolt hole spacing, if I measure from outside to outside of the holes it looks like 50mm.
