I know a lot of us live far apart and these scoots could be a pain to take on long rides, but I was wonderingif anyone ever tried to get together and go on a descent length ride? I live in south western pa about an hr south of Pittsburgh and there are not many scoots on the road here .

There's a vintage scooter club in Pittsburgh (google it for their facebook page). I would bet if you contact them, they would know about other scooter clubs in the general area.

Around here the local Vespa club allows non-vespa riders on rides, even motorcycles and cars can go. Might be worth looking into that, maybe a classic scooter club will still let someone on a modern scooter join in on a ride.

Meeting at McD's for breakfast and then going for a long ride sounds like fun. Anyone in the Fredericksburg, VA area want to meet up?

I'd love to find a good group out here in San Diego. I am really shocked its limited to one or two.

I ride with about 3 other friends. 3 or 4 is a great number for riding trips. if you have bikes of similar capibilties it's even better.
