I was curious when I saw this fan from scooter elements and it says it has proof this it cools better then the stock fan . Well I decided to buy it and the first thing I noticed was the fins again are backwards from the stock fan " first strike " next the fins are not as wide " second strike" plus the outer edge of the fan is curved in restricting the flow of air into the shroud " third strike " and oh yeah it dosent throw as much air out the bottom of the shroud then the stock fan . No surprise . I figured I test it out since scooter elements is not know for lying . I do realize someone else runs them now but I figure they would try to keep the name in good standing. Here is the fan . m.ebay.com/itm/161285147156?txnId=1097006463006. Check out the description

I run the fan and its lighter makes my bike turn over easier and for some reason it runs better with it on there over stock, the fan stays on my bike.

That's the only thing that was accurate was the fan is lighter but for someone who runs at wot at 60 plus mph for 30 miles and dosent have an oil cooler it's not a good idea . My scoot runs at about 200 degrees oil temp in 80 degree weather at those speeds and distances , so I don't have much room to play with a fan that dosent cool as good .

Garbage just to make a buck, you should see some of the other stuff they try to pawn off as performance. But there's a fool and sucker in every crowd. Alleyoop

That's right , the funny thing is that all they need to do is flip the fins around and change the two other problems which would still keep it much lighter then the stock fans and they would work pretty good . Main reason I ordered it was because I have become accustomed to trusting scooter elements and wanted to test it out . I guess I was also hopin it would work . Lol

And that is what we are saying it does not cool because of the bad design, it may be lighter WHOOPY but your motor might get overheated, nice fan . Alleyoop

Of course the engine will run easier and with less drag, as it's not drawing in nearly as much air, However, if the purpose of the fan is to cool the bike, that should be the priority, not whether or not it turns easier. Take it off totally and there's even less drag!

Lol, yep the fan is listed as a fan that cools better , lol. I would love to get together with another scooter rider and design a new fan that actually cools better and Then have the machinery to produce one .
