Trail tech makes a nice gauge. I installed one a couple days ago and like it a lot.

Don't forget the 48 inch extension cable. The wire that comes with it is very short

Srry , those things are too expensive for my blood .
I drilled an $5 AC vent thermometer through an old oil cap . A piece of vacuum hose between the gauge and cap to set the oil stick depth with a grinder nick for proper level. Works perfect and no power supply needed.

Could you post a pic, would love to see it!

I just picked up my new trail temp gauge and installed (150cc), can't wait to ride it to work and test it out.
Ezgoing28 what have you recorded to be normal driving temp conditions? I know this can vary from scooter to scooter but am sure they cant be that far apart. I like to make sure I have an idea of roughly were norm should be and were too hot mark is to pull over and cool down.

about 250 degrees on average 288 is my highest so far. I am still working on carb tuning . It is rather minimum but it still pops a little when i let off the throttle
