update, i used my old star washer and fiddled with the washer behind the nut and i think i fixed it. Will find out tomorrow due to running out of gas and no gas can, it is a of a lot tighter then before. I cant even move it using my hands like before, man getting your finger pinched between the clutch pulley is no bueno lol

Very easy to see if when you push the VARIATOR and squeeze the belt up so it goes on all the way IF YOU SEE SPLINES sticking out you need to get a washer thick enough or two of them so that the WASHERS go over the SPLINE and NO SPLINES are protruding so that the NUT TIGHTENS on the WASHER and not the SPLINES. Don't over tighten you will strip the threads. Put a drop of Loctite blue and just snug the nut. How old is the belt and roller weights? Check for wear or fraying on the sides of the belt and look for missing cogs under the belt. Check your roller weights for flat spots. When your cover is back on your belt will wobble and twist less because your clutch is supported by the bearing in your cover. Get the part number off the belt and buy a spare belt.

A worn belt will not be as stiff as a new one . A worn variator can also cause it to wiggle . Look up Minarelli variator by Koso on Ebay as it is better and cheaper than an OEM one .
My Gates belt was smooth riding I put on a Bando Kevlar and it had a vibration that the Gates did not . Same thing on my 150 but it smoothed out after 3k miles but on my 2T is got worse . So I ordered a Gates belt and Koso variator from Ebay to replace mine . Note the diff in the belt movements of a 2T vs a 4T

why doesnt the nut go on there farther than it does? that looks like it barely gets up on the threads. is it stripped past that? just make sure it gets tight.
