What about that round black thing in the picture in my last post? Does that stay or can I remove that as well?

You can also take the PAIR system off that is this one but you will need to plug the hole in the head with a piece of metal you can make yourself or buy one they sell them. Alleyoop The PAIR ( Pulsed Air Injection Reburn ) this sucks fresh air into the Exhaust port. It will usually go to a Canister operated by a Vacuum hose and one hose is just hanging to suck in fresh air.

What about that round black thing in the picture in my last post? Does that stay or can I remove that as well? That small black thing your holding if the last picture if you follow the hose it should go to the tank right? Then the other hose on the other side goes to a canister right? all that comes out. All you want is ONE HOSE from the top of the tank zip tie it higher than the tank and the canister the vacuum line going to it block it off at its ORIGIN and pull all that stuff off . Alleyoop

If you could take pictures of the area around the carb hoses and canisters I can label the things for you. Alleyoop

I made a video of my evap system because it's slightly different then the one in your picture, in that my line that should go to the air box actually goes to the vacuum source (I think, assuming the manifold is a vacuum source).
Before I cut or remove anything please check the video.

You put a filter on it and strap the filter above the tank height on the frame. Nothing connects to the other side of the filter, it's meant to be a breather tube, preventing vacuum in the gas tank, the filter is to prevent liquids from escaping easily while still allowing it to breathe. You could cap that line instead of putting a filter on it, but then you would need to drill a tiny hole in the gas cap to prevent vacuum in the tank.

WHAT a mess of hoses(HAHA). Not a problem. 1. the vent hose from the tank take it off at the little round valve and zip tie little higher than the tank, and IF you have a spare fuel filter add it to the end. That will allow it to breath and no dirt or spiders will get in. 2. The two that you say are attached to the Vacuum line follow the vacuum line down and cut it at its ORGIN and plug it there. 3. Now you will have a canister with hoses looses and the little round valve hanging loose pull the whole thing out(DONE). Make sure the VACUUM going to that canister is plugged. Alleyoop

I forgot to show in the video the other hose is capped off at the T connection.

So you fixed the throttle and not longer pulls when twisting forward. The motor sounds good and revs good. When it shut off it shut off by itself you did not touch anything?
Now will it start back up after it shuts off or do you have to wait a few minutes. Alleyoop

I revved it up a couple of times and it revved perfectly. After the third rev it stalled and now I need to wait a few minutes to restart it.

I think the carb is running out of gas at this point. Lets check that, now look at your carb and you will see on the bottom a hose it usually hangs down in front of your cvt cover around there. See if it has a metal tip with a screw on the end of it or it is just an open hose(if so then the drain screw is right next to where it attachs to the carb bowl. Get your screw driver ready and be ready to turn the drain screw COUNTER CLOCKWISE to open and let the fuel come out as SOON as the motor dies. You can catch the fuel in a cup or something. Tried it twice, both times fuel came out as soon as I started to turn the screw.

Yes but how much after it died. It should be close to two ozs of fuel then it should be empty and no more fuel should come out. Alleyoop

What I am thinking is the float may be set wrong and not letting it fill it up high enough to cover the jets so as the demand for more fuel is done the level drops below the jets and no fuel gets sucked out and it dies. Alleyoop
