No I did not notice a seat of the pants difference with the cdi. ( just my opinion) .I did notice the lighter rollers though . Today I am going to install the 2000 rpm clutch springs and torque spring. And the filter has a 15 degree neck on it and it came from ebay for like 20 dollars.

Here is a pic of my two toys together. On this picture you can see the carbon fiber vinyl I put on the headlights to cover some scratches that the scooter got during shipping. I think the original headlights are a little large and this gives it more of a "street bike" look. If anyone is interested in the golf cart it is a 1999 ezgo. Lifted 6 inches, 15 inch car wheels , stereo system with amp and subwoofer under the seat. All the drive system has been upgraded to 48 volts and it does about 30 mph. ( if it were legal in my area I probably wouldn't even own the scooter.)

I got a chance this morning to install the 2000 rpm clutch springs and torque spring. The clutch springs went right on shouldn't they be tight and hard to get on? When the scooter idles it wants to roll forward. Not real hard but hard enough to push it off the kick stand. It was hard getting the belt on with the 2000 rpm torque spring , I am hoping as I ride it and break it in it might stop. Any Ideas for me? It does have more torque and when I drove it up and down the road all seemed fine except for when you stop it has a slight pull to it.

Sounds like your idle is too high.

No that isnt the problem.....its not idle speed. Sounds like the Clutch springs arent the correct dimensions. They should be very tight going on.
Sounds to me like the springs are loose and letting the clutch shoes swing out at idle..thus engaging the clutchbell and causing the scooter to creep. compare the new springs with the stock ones and take a picture.

You were correct boost. The clutch springs were about an eighth of an inch too long. I put the originals back in and the problem is solved. I am going to just buy the whole clutch assembly with the springs already installed. Hopefully my pipe and jet kit will be here soon. On a side note, has anyone know about the cheap nitrous kits on ebay for scooters. They are about 50 bucks and come with what looks like a co2 cartrige from a BB gun. I thought about getting one but not if it sucks. I cant find much info on them. I will try and post a link. Thanks for everyones help. I hope everyone gets to put some miles on their scooters. 13608302.ebay.com/itm/GY6-Bike-Scooter-ATV-50-100-125-150-cc-NOS-Nitrous-Oxide-Boost-Bottle-Kit-/231199435624?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35d48f6b68&vxp=mtr I stink at posting links and stuff. You can get on ebay and search for gy6 nitrous and it will come right up.

I thought some goodies would come in the mail yesterday but no. Yesterday I removed the pair system using a 15 dollar block off plate from ncy. I like it a lot better with out all the vacuum lines and charcoal canisters. It runs the same as stock but if I were to have a problem on the road I dont have extra hoses and such wondering if an air leak is keeping it from running. I am waiting on some rear shocks, my pipe and jet kit and clutch with the 2000 rpm springs installed. If anyone is interested in removing their extra tubing there is a good write up on it by "jerseyboy" That thread explains things better than I can. If someone wanted too they can clean everything up without buying the block off plate. just cut off the large hose on the bottom of the valve cover and put a bolt in it to plug the hole tightly. I ran mine like that for about a week with no issues.

You and I both bought almost identical scooters and from the same dealer.

It has been a while since my last post and not a lot has changed on the scooter that I can really think of. I put some new shocks on it but they were a little long and very stiff. So they came off and I put the original ones back on. I have been having a hard time getting the carb adjusted . I cant seem to get it to completely quit backfiring during deceleration. When I ride around with my daughter at a reg pace then it never does it but when I ride alone and I am full throttle often it seems to do it quite a bit. They scooter has been great so far . I have done quite a few mods to it and ride the crap out of it and it seems to hold up just fine. Now with all that being said i can say that I damaged the motor but It is due to all my mods and the way I drive not the dependability of the scooter. ( it actually still runs great.) A month or so ago I got rid of all the extra vacuum lines and canisters. I had a filter on the end of my valve cover breather and never had any trace of oil coming from it. Anyway there are these cheap $40 nitrous kits on ebay with the co2 looking cartridges that supposedly have nitrous in them. I ordered it . I knew it was dumb, It sat for a few weeks and i finally put it on. I took it down the block. used it on short bursts like the instructions said. I went one bock turned around and came back to the shop and took it off. It was laim to say the least. I drove it home about two miles and i had oil all over my floor board . It was coming from the valve cover breather but still ran fine. I rigged up a catch can but I had too much oil in the can the last week or two. So I knew something was wrong. (still ran fine though.) basicly little to no power loss. I bought a big bore kit from ebay and I am in the process of installing it now. I will post some pics of the rebuild and the damage. I had a broken piston. I am not saying the fake nitrous caused it but the problem started immediately after i used it.
