I really dislike the noise my turn signals make when I use them. I thought maybe they made noise from the same spot as the horn, but this is not so. How would I go about disabling the beeps? Or at least muffling them with some black tape. I have *no* idea where the noise is coming from. They are very loud! My scoot is running great finally, and this is almost the last thing I want to change. After that i just need to make the seat a little more stable, and maybe paint it. The beeper may be inside the instrument panel itself if it is not outside of it. And yes when you do find it you can either disconnect it or muffle it with tape or you can connect it to the Brake Like I did on mine. When your holding the brake to make a turn it will not beep but as soon as you release the brake to make a turn it will beep to remind you to shut the turn signal off. Alleyoop

Mine beeped really loud too....the beep was coming from the turn signal relay. I stuck a piece of electrical tape over the end and it was considerably more quiet. Eventually the relay failed...the replacement didn't have a beep...now I drive with my turn signal on. :-(

Mine is totally silent and I want one that makes noise
I'll trade you relays... pm me if you find it and are interested, and we can see if they are compatible

just curios, are the turn signal relays the same as in cars. i got a really noisy one in my car and would rather have the car silent than the scoot as i some times forget to turn off signals on the scoot

The first scooter (I call it a moped) I had back in the 70's looked much like this. Mine came from Montgomery Wards. Your's looks really nice. How fast does she run? My Montgomery Ward's special could outrun a 10 speed, but beyond that, was a regular turtle, perhaps 25 MPH if you were on flat ground with out a crosswind.
