I have a 2008 roketa mc-08-50. Just adjusted the valves at .05mm both intake and exhaust.
Starts right up, but wants to die and not idle. I set the idle higher, but seems to idled itself down on its own if that is possible. When started, it idles high for a few seconds and gradually idles down until it wants to die.
Fuel seems to go fast... if my fuel gauge is right!?!?!?, or if there is a leak, but i have not found any parked... could be leaking if i was riding but have no way to check that.
It is very hard to start when it is cold this time of the year, but when the scooter has warmed up, it starts easy, but idles high for a short time then idles low and then dies.
Really like the quick start up, but would really like to figure this out soon. I know someone has the answer or have came across the same problem and fixed it.
Your help is very much appreciated.
Thank you.

If you ajusted your valves and set them to 0.05mm that is to TIGHT, set them both to .08mm or .003 inchs.
If after you adjust them and still have a problem with cold starts turn the FUEL RATIO SCREW 1/2 turn COUNTER CLOCKWISE and give that a shot. Alleyoop

If .05 is too tight, why would i adjust it to .08? Wouldn't that make it extremely tight. Or is it .03 that would be tight? Please explain. Thank you.

.08mm is a wider gap than is .05mm, therefore it is looser. Being looser it will allow for more heat expansion of the valves as they get hot, and still be able to close all of the way.

DXverify that your valve lash has not wandered during adjustment. If it is too tight, the valves may not be seating properly. If your valve lash is too great, valves may not be opening enough to allow sufficient intake charge to enter and escape the combustion chamber. If your valve lash is good, make your a/f adjustment. when you have the right a/f ratio, the spark plug will set in on a slight brown color around the anode and electrode with no coking.
