so installng my brand new crank from scrappys my woodruff key must have fell out during install and when i went to start my motor it fired right up then stripped the woodruff key slot and quicky died .....any thing i can do without having to buy a new crank and tearing my motor down? i just used j-b weld to try and hold the key in place open to any ideas i will have the toss this crank anyway if i cant fix it

Id send them a mail with pictures of what you're talking about to see is they have an answer. Also post pics here if you can so others can see. It may help with solving the problem or at least give you a direction to go in. Pcb.

It all depends if just the lip of the sides of the crank slot are damaged also the flywheel slot is the one that get damaged more so than the crank slot. So if you can take a pic of the flywheel slot and the crank slot that would tell all. There is not much you can do if it is to far damaged but get a new crank and flywheel if that is also damaged.
