Follow the gas lines to it. maybe attached to the bottom of the tank and can be unscrewed, or its along side the frame and is probably zip-tied. Just put it out and replace the same way you took it out.

On a Tao Tao it is a disc attached to the frame. 3 hoses. 1 from the tank. Pinch this off with vise grips. Otherwise you will have gas all over quick like. 2 is from the intake to the pepcock. 3 Pepcock to carb. If it is not sucking gas check the hose from the intake to the pepcock. A hole or crack will prevent suction and give the appearance it is no functioning. Good Luck.

You take the seat bucket out. Remove the rear rack. Take the rear body panels and the plastic bowed panel that the seat sits on, take it off all together. You may have to pull the sides out a little, to clear the wiring and components zip tied to it. The tank needs to be empty. Undo the big but with a crescent wrench. You may have to hold the part with a pair of pliers while you do this. When you get it undone, pull down there may be an internal filter, its plastic held in the part with the help of a o-ring it's supposed to be white . Install your new part, it should be sealed by a rubber washer inside the big nut. Hook your hose's up. Put in about a quart of gas in the tank. You can now try to start your scooter. Check for leaks now before you reassemble the body. It will probably take about 2hrs, take your time put every thing back the way it came off. Good luck!
